Hi Joshua, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York on September 25th, 1985. My journey into rap music began when my mother introduced me to “The Score” album by The Fugees. I was immediately hooked and fell in love with the genre. At just 12 years old, I was so passionate about music that I wrote a letter to Diddy and Mase, mailing it to Bad Boy’s New York office in the hopes of getting noticed. I drew inspiration from Mase, who was the number one rapper in New York City at the time. As I delved deeper into the world of rap, I realized I needed a stage name. That’s when I decided to call myself Pompeii, and my cousin aptly nicknamed me Hollywood because I always had a flair for the dramatic. So, Hollywood Pompeii was born.
As I look back on my journey, I’m reminded of the power of passion and creativity.
As public figure, I’ve learned that my art is my everything, and I’m not alone. There are countless talented individuals out there who are pushing the boundaries of storytelling and challenging mainstream conventions. For me, creating content is not just about producing videos; it’s about crafting a narrative that resonates with my audience. I’ve had the opportunity to work on music videos, short films, and even rap myself.. I’ve also had the chance to explore visual direction, through my production company,Hollywood Pompeii Studios, which has allowed me to tap into my creative side and bring my vision to life.
I founded my company with the aid of my wife, Mimi Bermudez and my business partner, Jamie James. I opened the company in the year 2022. It has been a huge venture for me and my team. I have surrounded myself with other talented creatives such as my business partner and CEO, Darius Jackson and my amazing team members who work consistently to keep our dreams alive.. As a social media influencer, I’ve learned the importance of creating content that speaks to an audience and leaves a lasting impression.
I believe that the key to making an impact is understanding that it’s not just about the technical aspects, but about evoking emotions and creating a connection with your audience. My goal is to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of creation, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.
As a skilled content creator, I’ve had the opportunity to work with diverse teams, and navigate various cultures. I’ve also developed a keen sense of brand marketing and digital strategies, which has allowed me to help others build their online presence and tell their stories. This journey has been filled with many moments of strong adversity. However, with a strong team and a dominant mindset, I have explored many strategies to develop more positive outcomes, which has allowed me and my team to prosper throughout our struggles.
