Inspiring Conversations with Jeffrey Morgan of Kinetic Pixels Studio LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeffrey Morgan.

Hi Jeffrey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My parents are originally from Corn Island, a small island located off the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua. They eventually relocated to the United States, where I was born in Los Angeles, California.

My father was a merchant marine captain and accepted a position in Brazil, where I spent the majority of the following 14 years. In the mid-1980s, I returned to the United States and settled in Miami, Florida. I attended Miami Norland Senior High School and later graduated from Miramar High School. Subsequently, I enrolled at the International Fine Arts College in Miami, where I pursued higher education while working part-time at various establishments across South Florida. These included several well-known clubs and restaurants, such as Baja Beach Club, Croco’s, Martha’s on the Bay, Bermuda Bar and Grill, and Mako’s Beach Club, among others.

Following college, I began my professional career as a Pre-Press Operator. This role introduced me to the creative, printing, and publishing industries. I initially worked in production but gradually transitioned into graphic design. I routinely extended my workday by staying after hours to independently study design software and tools, thereby developing the skills and technical knowledge I now possess.

Later, I was offered a position at Creative Drive, located in Hollywood, Florida, where I served as a 3D generalist, VFX artist, and post-production specialist. I held this position for 25 years. After Creative Drive was acquired by Accenture Song, the company closed its South Florida office, leaving me unemployed for the first time since high school.

At that point, with the encouragement of my wife, I decided to pursue entrepreneurship and establish my own company. This marked the founding of Kinetic Pixels Studio, which remains active today. The studio specializes in creative design, 3D product visualization, and animation services.

Over the years, I have completed projects for a diverse range of clients, including Garden of Life (Nestlé), Pool Corp, Chewy, Signify Philips, PUR Cosmetics, Chico’s, Robbermade, and AMC America, among others. In early 2025, I made the decision to enter the software development industry. This initiative led to the creation of FlowBiz.app, a business management application tailored to the needs of freelancers and small business owners.

The idea for FlowBiz emerged from my personal experience. I needed a simple and cost-effective solution to manage clients, projects, schedules, and invoicing. Many existing platforms were either prohibitively expensive or overly complex for my needs. FlowBiz was designed to address these gaps. Additionally, by integrating artificial intelligence into the application, I was able to provide users with tools for market research, vendor discovery, and general business support. We have several additional applications in development, which are scheduled to launch throughout the year.

Each year, my wife, daughter, and I travel internationally, exploring destinations such as Italy, England, Puerto Rico, and Bulgaria. South Florida remains our home, and we greatly appreciate the dynamic lifestyle the region offers.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For the most part, it was a smooth experience. The main challenge was client acquisition. I still struggle with this today, but it’s improving.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Kinetic Pixels Studio LLC?

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I’ve always been fascinated by the workings of things. As a child, I would disassemble my toys and reassemble them. I’ve always been drawn to art, technology, and sports. In 2009, I got into obstacle races and triathlons. In 2016, I completed a full-distance triathlon and became an Ironman. I still enjoy running, swimming, cycling, and golfing.

Pricing:

  • FlowBiz.app is lunching with a Founders Special. $10 per month.
  • Pricing for 3D work is quoted on the project
