Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabriella Gonzalez
Hi Gabriella, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I began with a basic sales job at the age of 17, reselling sneakers out of Town Center mall. I quickly learned how to operate the business and became a successful salesperson, growing this company over time. While growing my sales knowledge, I also began a TikTok for the company. I was extremely consistent with my posting and creative strategy, which in turn, grew the account from 0 to 1,000,000 followers in about 2 years. Over those 2 years, I went through a process of relocating to the new Aventura mall location and took the position of store manager, and then relocating to New York City for about a year to take the same position at the new SoHo location. After realizing the flaws of the business that were not in my control, I moved back to Florida and separated from the company, keeping the knowledge I gained. I worked some simple side jobs, creative directing and executing short form content for other companies. Once I realized that creating, scripting, and acting were all strong suits of mine and I enjoyed that creation in combination with selling, I began my company SG Social Branding with my business partner, Jasper. Jasper is extremely organized and has amazing experience in marketing and business management. With our combined efforts, we began to onboard long-term clients and offer them our services which include, but are not limited to:

We now have a constantly growing amount of clients and employees, as our work has been recognized internationally by businesses who are seeking help to connect with their consumers and audience through social media.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Learning and growing from mistakes is extremely important. In the world of business, there are so many variables consistently in motion that must be considered in order to be successful. One main struggle I have overcome is a fear of rejection. You must constantly observe and internalize information to understand your beliefs on why you are making a certain move. If you make a certain move, and it is rejected by someone or something, you must find a balance between questioning yourself and your approach and sticking with what you believe. Sometimes, uncontrollable variables may come into play that can affect a situation and taint your beliefs when they shouldn’t. Other times, variables may come into play that show you a new perspective on your beliefs and cause you to use new reasoning and shift your consensus on a situation.
Simple examples of this are shown in any film day. I can go to film and have a content plan that works consistently for me and others, however I am being rejected by just about everyone that day, and even when I do find people to cooperate, they have no engaging energy. This can mean a lot of things, and based on previous knowledge, I don’t need to change my question, but I may need to move to a new location or change my approach on how I am asking people to cooperate.
As a young woman in business, I constantly have to have an open mind while still protecting my mentality. I will make mistakes and learn, and being open to that is the only way to grow. However, I also ensure that I celebrate and encourage my successes to help shape my next steps as well.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At SG Social Branding, our team of 8 (and growing) Gen-Zers create engaging short form content to be posted on business’s social media accounts under my partner and I’s training and guidance. We heavily focus on becoming a partner with each business, not just a vendor. From strategy, to creation, to post management and promotion, we do it all: Engaging a specific demographic, building a community, and growing an audience is our bread and butter. SG Social Branding has created proven strategies and methodology for social media channels that will convert to consistent sales. We script and plan out monthly content calendars, establish a digital roadmap, and provide consistent branding for all of our partners.
Considering Jasper and I are both 21, we have a solid understanding of how to connect to people through social media while having business experience due to entering consistent business mentorship opportunities at a young age. We are extremely proud of how we have been able to show and prove to business owners of older generations how valuable social media presence can be when it is done properly. We are most well known for our engaging short-form content that combines viral trends with concepts that benefit a business’ specific image or branding desire. We are so passionate about combining sales and branding with social content, and our only plans are to keep growing and working with more businesses to expand their demographics online.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love how Boca Raton is extremely clean and put together. There are so many successful business owners in the area, along with a massive amount of people who live elsewhere, yet have a home in Boca due to how beautiful it is. I do not enjoy how the mass majority of the population is elderly, and appreciate places like Miami for having a young population. Florida just seems to motivate people with it’s beauty- especially South Florida.
