Hi Eva, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
We’re Eva and Jean-Claude, a passionate French couple who followed a bold dream — to bring the best of wellness, medical aesthetics, and personal growth to the heart of Florida.
Originally from France, our backgrounds are as unique as they are complementary. I (Eva) am a mindset & business coach and skincare specialist with a deep love for natural beauty. Before coming to Florida, I built and ran a thriving childcare center designed around the needs of working families. My mission has always been to create meaningful experiences that truly serve people — body, mind, and soul.
Jean-Claude, my husband, is a highly respected anesthesiologist and medical expert in bodily injury. For over 20 years, he has been a trusted name in the medical field in France, known for his precision, care, and dedication to improving lives.
We moved to Florida in October 2022 to make a lifelong dream come true — to live near the ocean and open a space that brings healing, beauty, and wellbeing to others.
While the transition was far from easy, we stayed committed. And today, we are proud to be the owners of Health & Beauty Family, a premium medical spa located in the heart of Sunny Isles Beach.
Our spa is more than a business — it’s a space where technology meets care, where every client is seen, heard, and treated with kindness. From advanced facial treatments, laser services, and PRP, to relaxing and deep massages, lash extensions, and IV therapy, we combine the best of French expertise, cutting-edge devices, and holistic approaches.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has definitely not been easy — but that’s exactly what gives this journey its meaning.
When we moved to Florida, we left behind a comfortable life, solid roots, and most importantly, our loved ones. One of our sons stayed in France to pursue his studies, and our youngest came with us, but after a few months, he felt out of place in his school and chose to return as well. Being separated from our children and family has been a real emotional challenge.
To stay legally in the U.S., we had to invest in businesses outside our expertise — like the restaurant industry — in order to obtain an E2 investor visa. And like many expats, we put all of our life savings on the line, sometimes encountering dishonest people and unreliable partners, even within a legal framework that doesn’t always protect you.
This financial, emotional, and legal pressure even led to tension in our couple at times. It takes a lot of strength to stay united, to keep going despite uncertainty, distance, and isolation.
Even today, we’re still rebuilding a support system here — finding people we can count on, people who share our human and professional values. And that’s not always easy.
But we’re not giving up. We’re holding on, working really hard, constantly learning, and getting licensed in Florida so we can serve with professionalism and integrity.
This Medical Spa is our new hope, our way to contribute meaningfully, with kindness, expertise, and determination, to this new life we’re building one step at a time.

How do you think about luck?
Honestly, I don’t really believe in luck — I believe in opportunities seized and lessons learned. Everything we’ve experienced since moving here — the highs, the lows, the really difficult moments — is part of the journey.
Some might call it bad luck, but for us, it’s been a series of moments that have shaped us, challenged us, and made us stronger. Today, we feel more aligned than ever with our purpose. We truly believe in what we’re building and in the impact we want to make. We know we’re on the right path, more united than ever as a couple and as entrepreneurs.
It’s not about luck. It’s about resilience, belief, and showing up every day with heart and intention.
