Hi Elijah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Elijah Patrick Ible, I am the Founder of Bourn Media and its residual company DrivenFocus, an independent book author with KDP ( Ali Ahu & The Magic Tree) on Kindle and Amazon and the new face of Hempire, a clothing brand that makes it clothes entirely of Hemp. I started my company (Bourn Media) while as a senior undergrad at Florida State University. I was a young (25) and ambitious man who had an eye for beauty and history of success. I had a strong idea of what I wanted to see in the future and focused my group on fulfilling the vision I had and over the last 8 years we have grown, produced and created that vision of success. Our mission statement has always been: “Conquer Your Goals”. And that is what we continue to do with and for others as much as we do for ourselves. I started my company with investments from angel investors and saved money after working for The State of Florida for several years. I turned that initial seed money of $26,000 into a company that has made revenue over $150,000 and operates not only in Florida but also around the world with the potential to become a multi-million dollar corporation. What I tell my peers, mentors and students is that I never give up. I implore everyone to continue to reach for that success that they are striving so hard for. Its important to get an education in what you are doing. I interned in 2016 with a media production company (Goldie Sound Production, Owner: Adrian Dickey) in Tallahassee, FL while at FSU before creating my own company. It taught me a lot about running a business and the entertainment/media industry. I continued with my education in my field and am currently working towards a Masters in Digital Media. The future is bright for my company and with the help of other organizations and corporations, our reach and foot in South Florida has grown. We are initiating our work and content with the world cup and with venues in Wynwood and west Miami who are posed to become our next clients.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The biggest challenges for my company has been restructuring from an idea to a real company. Keeping contractors and finishing campaigns while maintaining a healthy rep with our clients and potential clients/markets. The covid-19 pandemic had halted and slowed my company down significantly. Yet we re-branded and regrouped in 2025. Bourn Media is going to evolved in 2027.

While the business operates primarily out of the Florida Panhandle ( with a headquarters in Carrabelle/Crawfordville, FL) and the broader North Florida region, they provide services across the state. Bourn Media is a full-service digital media marketing agency based in Tallahassee, Florida. While they do not have a physical brick-and-mortar office in Jacksonville, Orlando or Miami, they service clients across North, Central & South Florida by offering web development, graphic design, and digital advertising solutions. How do you think about luck?
Luck? If there is a God then there is a way! Karma has been good to me, not so much to others around me. With Bourn Media I would say 50% of our success like becoming tax certified or acquiring our biggest clients (Quora, Google, etc.) has been by sure luck! And I am happy for it.
