My journey has been one of faith, service, resilience, and a passion for helping others succeed. For more than two decades, I have dedicated my life to community service, ministry, entrepreneurship, education, and leadership. What began as a desire to make a difference in the lives of others has evolved into a lifelong mission of empowering individuals, families, and communities.
As a wife, mother, minister, entrepreneur, author, publisher, and humanitarian, I have worn many hats throughout my career. My commitment to serving others led me to establish and support several initiatives focused on community development, business empowerment, education, wellness, and faith-based leadership. Along the way, I have had the privilege of working with nonprofits, churches, community leaders, small business owners, and international organizations to create opportunities that inspire growth and transformation.
Professionally, I have built experience in technology, business consulting, nonprofit leadership, diplomacy, wellness, and public speaking. I currently serve in leadership roles with organizations that focus on community impact, global collaboration, and humanitarian outreach. Through my consulting work, training programs, and community initiatives, I help individuals and organizations access resources, build sustainable businesses, secure funding opportunities, and develop leadership skills.
My passion for service has earned me recognition through several prestigious honors, including the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, the Queen Mode Award, and a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. These awards reflect not only my personal accomplishments but also my commitment to uplifting others and creating meaningful change.
Today, I continue to expand my impact through community outreach, entrepreneurship training, literacy programs, women’s empowerment initiatives, wellness services, diplomacy, and ministry. My mission is simple: to inspire people to discover their purpose, maximize their potential, and create lasting success while making a positive difference in the world.
I believe that every challenge presents an opportunity for growth, and every person has the ability to transform their life when given the right tools, support, and encouragement. That belief continues to guide my work and fuels my vision for the future.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it has not been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs and community leaders, I have faced seasons of uncertainty, setbacks, and personal sacrifice. Building organizations, launching programs, and serving the community often required long hours, limited resources, and the willingness to keep moving forward even when the path was not clear.
Some of the biggest struggles along the way
Balancing multiple responsibilities
As a wife, mother, minister, entrepreneur, and community leader, one of the greatest challenges has been balancing family life with professional and nonprofit responsibilities. There were times when managing competing priorities required difficult decisions and careful time management.
Overcoming doubt and criticism
Whenever you step into leadership or try to create change, there will be people who question your vision. I had to learn to stay focused on the mission rather than becoming discouraged by criticism or setbacks.
Burnout and the need for resilience
Serving others can be deeply rewarding, but it can also be exhausting. There were moments when I had to intentionally step back, regroup, and prioritize my health, faith, and family in order to continue leading effectively.
The biggest lesson
The biggest lesson I have learned is that success is rarely a straight line. Every challenge taught me something: patience, resilience, leadership, and faith. Those struggles did not stop my journey; they shaped it. They helped me become a stronger leader and gave me a deeper understanding of the people I serve.
Looking back, I would not describe the road as easy, but I would describe it as meaningful. Each obstacle became part of the story that led me to where I am today.

I serve as a leader in several organizations, including Heavenly Hope Community Services, Inc., where we focus on community outreach, education, literacy, youth development, and support services for families in need. I am also involved in Together We Care N&R Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors by ensuring they are supported, valued, and cared for within their communities.
In the business sector, I provide consulting, training, and mentorship for entrepreneurs, helping them start, grow, and fund their businesses. I am passionate about teaching individuals how to build sustainable businesses, access funding opportunities, establish business credit, and create multiple streams of income. Through my wellness initiatives, including Vital Peak Nutrition and WellBalance Health and Wellness, I help individuals focus on healthier lifestyles, nutrition, and overall well-being.
What sets me apart is my ability to combine faith, business, technology, community service, and leadership into one holistic approach. Many people focus on only one area of development, but I believe true success comes from strengthening the whole person—spiritually, financially, physically, and professionally. My background in ministry, technology, nonprofit leadership, entrepreneurship, and diplomacy allows me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and provide practical solutions that create lasting impact.
I am known for building bridges between people and opportunities. Whether I am helping a nonprofit secure resources, teaching entrepreneurs how to grow their businesses, mentoring women leaders, organizing literacy programs for children, or providing humanitarian support to families, my goal is always to empower others to reach their fullest potential.
What I am most proud of is the impact our work has made in the lives of individuals and communities. Seeing a business owner launch their first company, a child develop a love for reading, a family receive support during a difficult time, or a community member gain the confidence to pursue their dreams is far more rewarding than any title or award. While I have been honored with recognitions such as the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and Congressional Recognition, the greatest achievement is knowing that our work continues to transform lives.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
One thing that may surprise people is that despite the many leadership roles, awards, and organizations I oversee today, I did not start with a clear roadmap or unlimited resources. Much of what I have accomplished came from a willingness to learn, adapt, and trust God through every season.
People often see the public side of my work, speaking at events, leading community initiatives, running businesses, writing books, and receiving awards but what they may not know is that I am naturally a servant at heart. My greatest joy does not come from recognition; it comes from seeing someone else’s life transformed. Whether it’s helping an entrepreneur launch a business, encouraging a family through a difficult time, mentoring a young leader, or inspiring someone to pursue their purpose, those moments mean more to me than any title or accolade.
Another surprising fact is that my background spans several very different fields. Many people know me as a minister, author, entrepreneur, or humanitarian, but I also have a strong background in technology and serve in leadership roles related to IT and innovation. I enjoy combining faith, technology, business, and community service to create solutions that make a real impact.
At the end of the day, I am simply a woman who believes that every person has God-given gifts and that success becomes truly meaningful when it is used to serve others. That belief continues to guide everything I do.
