Today we’d like to introduce you to Cynthia Legrand.
Hi Cynthia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born in New York from a Belgian father and an English mother; that’s why I have tea running through my veins 😉 After living most of my life in Belgium, I decided to move back to the United States 10 years ago, and now I live in Miami.
I have decades of experience in the hospitality and event industry, but my true passion has always been gourmet cooking and mostly baking. After years of entertaining friends and family, I decided to offer my delicacies to customers in my adorable little Tea Room that I decorated myself with lots of love and cuteness. Titia’s Tea Room brings sophistication and elegance to Miami’s food scene.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I am the General Manager of a boutique hotel and have opened my tearoom in the hotel, so running the Tea Room at the same time as managing the hotel is quite challenging!
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Titia’s Tea Room?
I offer the traditional English Afternoon Tea experience in my Tea Room. A Tea Party is a unique and delightful way to celebrate a special occasion. For a baby shower, bridal shower, birthday celebration, wedding anniversary, hen party, promotion, retirement, or just a friend’s get-together.
My Afternoon Tea includes a variety of homemade scrumptious petits fours, freshly baked scones with clotted cream, jam, and lemon curd, and mouthwatering finger sandwiches. And of course, you will have a selection of unique teas to choose from.
I also organize private Tea Parties at people’s homes or offices.

Give people a unique and unforgettable experience, allow them to relax, forget about their busy life and just enjoy a moment of pure sweetness and happiness. Because I love people and I love spreading happiness around me!
