Today we’d like to introduce you to Cristian Giraldo
Hi Cristian, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am a Dentist from Colombia who graduated from Universidad Santiago de Cali with +9 years of experience. Came to this country in 2016 looking for a better opportunity of life for me and my family. Started working in the dental field as a Lab technician in Utah. I was performing that job for 7 years between Utah and Florida becoming a manager in some of the biggest companies in America like aspen and affordable dentures also doing several certifications in dental field like fixed dentures, over dentures, composite veneers, porcelain veneers, etc.
Finally I have decided to open my own dental business in association with Dr Carlos Gonzalez (Licensed dentist). Currently, I work as a dental director. It was not easy but working with an amazing team I did it.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
During all these years it has not been easy as an immigrant but with enough hard work and saving for many years we were able to start this project, in which I met Dr. Gonzalez, for the office process it was several months of a lot of effort but with perseverance and patience We managed to open our first location in Fort Lauderdale.
