Today we’d like to introduce you to Claudienne Hibbert-Smith. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Claudienne Hibbert-Smith has shifted the paradigm of what the premise of a teenage mother could ever be. Claudienne became pregnant at the age of 14. The stigma of ruining her life was completely thrown upon her shoulders. Unlike some who saw doom in her future as a result of her pregnancy, failure was not an option for her.
She was among the top academic performers and Vice President of her high school graduating class- Miami Carol City Senior High School class of 97. Claudienne Hibbert-Smith obtained her bachelor’s degree in 2001 from The University of Florida (UF), a premier university ranked 14th overall among all U.S. public universities according to the US News & World Report.
Shortly after landing her first job out of college, she transitioned into a real estate professional. Claudienne quickly moved up the charts with her sales volume becoming the rookie of the year. At this very same time, Claudienne became an investor purchasing her first duplex in Miami Gardens at the age of 21, and has since increased her net worth to $13.5 Million.

Claudienne and her team produced $90 Million in Sales in 2022 and with 1 quarter left in 2024, they are aiming to finish at $300 Million in sales Production. Claudienne joined the National Association of Real Estate Brokers- South Florida Board of Realtist (SFBOR) as the secretary in 2001. The organization focuses on democracy in housing.
With great leadership preceding her, she became the Vice President and shortly thereafter, became the President and led the way for two terms totaling four years. Claudienne forged new business relationships, which has afforded the South Florida Board the opportunity to service hundreds of real estate professionals and consumers through educational programs, hence creating homeownership. Claudienne is now the President of the State Chapter.
Claudienne also serves on various boards not limited to the planning and zoning committee at the City of Opa Locka. Economic success has not deterred Claudienne from selflessly giving back. Her foundation is rooted in community service and is a primary reason she gives back to the community.

As a result of her community involvement, she was honored with the first-ever Humanitarian Unsung Hero Award. Claudienne is always looking for new ways to improve and increase homeownership, investors, and realtors.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Throughout my life there have been so many obstacles… let’s just start at 14 and being a single mom or at 16 being hauled to a whore house nearly raped.. by the grace of God, I was released. I have been to jail a couple of times for mischievous conduct.
I remember having to apply for my real estate license and having to write a letter explaining why I had been in juvenile detention a few times.. that was nerve-wracking as my new career as a realtor was up to a board… Welp! I got licensed and became a progressive black realtor in a white male-dominated market… and the list goes on. HOWEVER, I am grateful for all the challenges!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work?
