Hi Charles, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
I’m often asked how I got into dog training and I always hesitate to respond to the question but then I remember it’s always important to never forget where you have come from because it is what allowed you to reach your destination. I started dog training while incarcerated and now 4 years later, I have created my own business which has been very successful. My career has taken me to places I would’ve never imagined and allowed me to show everyone that it’s possible to make something out of nothing and climb the ladder of success.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
My journey hasn’t exactly been obstacle free. One of my biggest struggles would most definitely be having to explain where I started and pray that the client doesn’t judge me for my past. This has however led to a smooth success in becoming my own business and allowing me to continue to give back to the community. I really like to create awareness among people that are/have been incarcerated and give them hope and encouragement to not become another statistic.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in Basic/Advanced obedience training, perfecting commands such as, sit, stay, lay down, heel, come, etc. I am known for my success rate and ability to effectively train a dog whether it be potty training or even hydra therapy for post-op pups. We offer multiple types of services such as doggy fun day, pool with pups swimming lessons, private lessons, and even doggy field trips! What I would like readers to know about my brand is that the sky is the limit! My focus with each client is to build a bond and a clear understanding of how to effectively train and maintain training your dogs.
Paws Across Dade is in the works of a few new ideas to come, my goal as a business owner is to constantly expand and give the absolute best that we have to offer. We spend weeks at a time with each individual pup to give the best results, while implementing fun and creating a happy and comfortable place for our furry friends to learn new skills. Every day is another opportunity to reach new heights!

I don’t believe in luck. I believe that hard work and dedication will take you wherever you want to be in life.
