Inspiring Conversations with Catherine Delcin of Delcin-Zilpa Law Group, PA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Catherine Delcin

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I began my journey through a series of interconnected fortunate and unfortunate circumstances. These circumstances include the best and the worst times but altogether they have led me to where I am today. The weaving thread in my journey as an entrepreneur is the impact that people who have given me a “Yes” or “No” or even a “Maybe” have imprinted on the journey. They all choraled to empower me, to work harder as gratitude for the those who have said “yes”, and inspiration for those whose only part in my story was to respond “No” or “Maybe.” I launched Delcin-Zilpa Law Group in Boca Raton, Florida, after founding Delcin Consulting Group in California over 13 years ago. I have found that no two endeavors are ever the same, based on the timing, subject matter and the people involved. When I started my entrepreneurial journey in 2011, I had a planned path to success, and I can honestly share that none of it worked the way that I planned. Instead, it is those fortunate circumstances that have brought me to where I am today.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The entrepreneurial journey is not without challenges. My share of those challenges has enabled me to transition and pursue different opportunities through both Delcin Consulting Group and Delcin-Zilpa Law Group by offering various solutions that addresses the pending and future needs within those respective communities. The interesting thing about some of the hardships we have faced as team is that they endeared and bond us to our community and to each other as we continue on that journey together, ever so convinced that we are doing exactly what we were meant to do.

How do you think about luck?
I believe that in addition to having a plan for success and working that plan, every person needs a little bit of luck. Luck plays a key role in a lot of our journeys. Some don’t credit it enough. I have been lucky and unlucky at times. Both in personal and business I believe that luck has at times been a saving grace from circumstances, known, unknown, seen, and unseen.
