Hi Arin, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
After working jobs I hated, letting other people dictate my life choices. I finally took the leap of faith and made a decision solely for myself I enrolled in Esthetician school at Boca Beauty Academy! I graduated and needed to find a job, lol. I applied at European Wax and that’s when my journey began.
I was working at European for about two years then the pandemic happened! I was very much comfortable working there but wasn’t genuinely happy! During the shutdown, something shifted within me. My older sister encouraged me to quit and go into business with her. I was scared as hell but went for it Revive Being Wax Studio happened and I have now been an entrepreneur for 3 years. I specialize in full-body waxing, Brazilian waxing, and Vajacials!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
In life, I’ve learned there will always be obstacles. You are going to have good days and bad days! Being an entrepreneur I like to say “is not for the weak”!
I went into this without knowing anything about entrepreneurship the hardest part is figuring things out. Learning how to budget, market, and file your taxes it’s a lot.
We’ve been impressed with Revive Being Wax Studio, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a licensed Esthetician specializing in full body waxing, Brazilian waxing, and vajacials. I am known for Brazilian waxing I do that service the most! I think what sets me apart is that I am very intentional.
I am very vulnerable with my guest and I don’t take their support for granted! Revive Being Wax Studio is truly my baby, my pride and joy; my brand embodies self-confidence, taking care of yourself, and uplifting women! I am more than proud that so many beautiful women trust me with their bodies.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I’m a strong believer in manifestation in the next 5-10 years, I see myself maybe teaching my waxing classes, making six figures, my products, and owning a salon one day!
