Today we’d like to introduce you to Alicimar Vilela

Hi Alicimar, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began my career in the real estate industry in Brazil, where I worked as a sales manager for eight years with multinational developers like Brookfield and OAS. This experience taught me the importance of strong client relationships, a deep understanding of the market, and the need to stay one step ahead. I became well-known within the Brazilian community for my commitment and expertise.
After moving to the United States ten years ago, I initially worked in a different field. However, I was drawn back to real estate and joined Partnership Realty Inc. in Florida. Adapting to a new market presented its challenges – from learning different regulations to understanding the preferences of American clients – but my previous experience gave me a solid foundation and helped me build a network that includes both Brazilian and American clients.
Today, I’m proud to support clients in finding homes, investments, and new beginnings here in the U.S. This journey has been one of growth, resilience, and learning, and I look forward to continuing to help my community achieve their real estate goals.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. Moving to a new country and entering a different market presented many challenges, but the language barrier was by far the hardest. I quickly realized that, as intelligent as one might be, without fluency in the language, it’s difficult to gain the trust of American clients. There’s often an assumption that language fluency equals knowledge, but skills and expertise go beyond language alone.
Building trust and credibility took time and resilience. I also had to adapt to new business norms and regulations, all while building a network from scratch. Balancing personal and professional life has also been challenging, as I juggle family commitments and career growth.
Despite these obstacles, I see them as opportunities for growth. They taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of meaningful connections.

We’ve been impressed with Partnership Realty Inc., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I specialize in helping clients navigate the Florida real estate market, with a particular focus on medium and high-end properties. My goal is to provide each client with a personalized and seamless experience, whether they’re purchasing a new home, investing in property, or seeking a fresh start. I am known for my dedication, attention to detail, and the ability to understand and meet the unique needs of each client.
What sets me apart is my background in sales management and my cultural understanding, which allow me to offer a unique and tailored service, especially for clients from Brazil and other international communities. I am committed to building trust and long-term relationships with my clients, guiding them every step of the way to ensure they feel confident and informed in their real estate decisions.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Honestly, I don’t believe in luck. I believe in hard work, persistence, and perseverance in fighting to achieve one’s goals. For me, luck is often associated with those who expect success without much effort and tend to rely on chance rather than dedication. This mindset can lead to complacency and passivity, leaving people unprepared for the challenges that naturally arise along the way.
In my life and business, I’ve learned that real success comes from commitment and resilience. I believe that if you work hard and remain focused, you create your own opportunities. So, rather than waiting for luck, I focus on taking action, learning, and growing to reach my goals.
