Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Salcedo.
Hi Stephanie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey didn’t start with a perfect plan, it started with a deep desire to create meaningful spaces and a willingness to figure things out as I went. I’ve always been drawn to creativity, community, and building things that bring people together, but stepping fully into that took time, growth, and a lot of faith.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats, but becoming a mother really shifted my perspective. I began to see how important connection, creativity, and intentional experiences are for families and children. That led me to start creating community-centered events, educational experiences, and spaces where families could feel welcomed, inspired, and supported.
Today, I’m the founder of WonderHaus and involved in building family-focused experiences that blend creativity, learning, and community. My work is rooted in the belief that childhood should feel magical and that strong communities are built through shared experiences. Whether I’m designing programs, hosting events, or creating content, my goal is always to bring warmth, intention, and a sense of belonging to the people I serve.
Looking back, the path hasn’t been linear, but every step has shaped the mission I carry today, to create spaces where families can slow down, connect, and experience a little more wonder in everyday life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs and mothers, one of the biggest challenges has been learning how to build something meaningful while also being fully present for my family. Balancing the demands of motherhood, personal growth, and building community-centered work has required a lot of patience, resilience, and grace with myself.
There have also been moments of uncertainty, wondering if I was taking the right risks, navigating seasons of change, and learning to trust the process even when things didn’t look clear. Building something rooted in purpose often means stepping outside of comfort and pushing through self-doubt.
Another challenge has been learning to protect my vision and stay grounded in my values. Not every opportunity is the right one, and part of growth has been learning when to say no and when to stay the course.
Each obstacle has shaped how I lead and create today. They’ve strengthened my faith, deepened my empathy for others, and reminded me that meaningful work is rarely built overnight. Those experiences have ultimately made the mission behind my work stronger and more intentional.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
WonderHaus is a family-centered enrichment and community experience brand rooted in creativity, connection, and intentional childhood. At its core, WonderHaus exists to create meaningful spaces where children and families can learn, explore, and feel a true sense of belonging.
We specialize in hands-on enrichment programs, creative learning experiences, and thoughtfully designed gatherings that bring education and community together. Our approach blends creativity, play, and real-life connection, creating environments where children are encouraged to be curious and families feel welcomed and supported.
What sets WonderHaus apart is the heart behind it. Everything we create is intentionally designed to feel warm, personal, and community-driven rather than transactional. We focus on slowing down, creating memorable experiences, and bringing a sense of wonder back into everyday life, something that often gets lost in today’s fast-paced world.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the way WonderHaus has grown organically through relationships and trust within the community. It’s not just about programs or events; it’s about creating a space where families feel seen, valued, and connected.
I want readers to know that WonderHaus is more than a business, it’s a mission to cultivate creativity, connection, and meaningful childhood experiences while building stronger communities along the way.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
There are many ways to collaborate with and support WonderHaus, and I’m always open to partnerships that align with our mission of creating meaningful, family-centered experiences.
Families can work with us by participating in our enrichment programs, events, and community gatherings designed to inspire creativity and connection. For brands, organizations, and local businesses, we welcome opportunities to collaborate on experiences, host events, sponsor programming, or create intentional partnerships that bring value to the families we serve.
We also love connecting with educators, creatives, and community leaders who share a heart for building supportive environments for children and families. Collaboration, to us, means creating something thoughtful and impactful together.
The best way to support WonderHaus is simply by showing up, attending events, sharing our work, and being part of the community we’re building. Every connection helps us continue creating spaces where families can feel inspired, supported, and connected.
