Aesthetic Element Medical is a couple-owned and operated company providing cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic treatments to clients in the South Florida area. With a passion for enhancing natural beauty and making clients look and feel their absolute best, this dynamic duo provides an extensive list of services ranging from neurotoxins to fillers, PDO threads, Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, weight loss programs, laser treatments, micro-needling, Hydrafacials, body contouring, and much more. Clients looking for an upscale, custom-tailored experience can depend on the highly experienced couple and their team to provide revolutionary treatments that meet their needs. The couple has worked in the industry for the past eight years, gaining an impressive level of experience while working closely with clients to help them achieve their specific goals. They decided to start their successful business five years ago because of their love for the industry and everything it entails. While the company began in a one-room office in the back of a spinning studio, the company quickly grew from solely word of mouth referrals. Aesthetic Element quickly grew to its new 3500 sqft state of the art facility in Weston, FL.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This was not an easy road by any means. We were forced to place our house as collateral in order to obtain a small business loan. Our business took a large hit March of 2020 during the COVId 19 pandemic where we were forced to close our office for three months. During this time, we did not take a paycheck in order to make sure our staff continued to be paid and feed their families. My husband worked for the hospital at the time which was our only source of income. The constant worry the pandemic put us through on whether or not we were going to be able to stay afloat were trying times for our family, our marriage and our overall health. I unfortunately gained an excessive amount of weight which lead to health concerns and my recent weight loss journey.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was forced to grow up at a very early age when I found out that I was pregnant at 16 years old. At the time, I was kicked off the cheerleading team and asked to leave my high school due to missing too much school (I was very ill during my entire pregnancy) and forced to complete high school through a homeschooling program. During this time, I began working two jobs in order to be able to afford healthcare and provide for myself and my baby as a single mother. This was during the time that I knew I would never allow my daughter to see me struggle as she grew up so I set on my path to completing and school and then college. I have always been a driven hustler fighting my way past statistics that say women in such circumstances can’t succeed. I refused to be a stigma.
