Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephan Burke.
Stephan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story begins when I moved to Miami 42 years ago. Watching Miami grow thru the decades and the population increasing and increasing every year. A beautiful city mirrored thru its vibrant colors of blue skies, azul colored ocean, sugar white beaches, sunrises, sunsets and full moons. The perfect city to build houses and condominiums as the population grew and many new residents wanted a second home. During college, I already had my eye on real estate as a future investor myself hopefully. Then in 1995, I got my Real Estate license and my new story began.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As my career grew, I realized due to Miami’s weather, I could sell Real Estate all year round. A big advantage compared to seasonal cities. I had a challenge as to when to take a vacation. I was working seven days a week and actually loved it because I’m outside most of the time and I got used to it. But after years of working this way, I had a challenges to when to take time off. So finally, I started to take time off every six months or so. Short little vacations, but just enough to escape and rest.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
In the early 1990’s, I would have family visiting me from Europe and the Northeast US and I would love to show them Miami as a pretend tourist guide. I would drive them thru the most beautiful neighborhoods and show them the big houses and also drive down the beautiful tree-lined streets. I would show them the trendy restaurants and beautiful beaches. One day my wife said, why don’t you get into Real Estate? You love to drive around and show houses from the car. It resonated with me and made sense. My new Career began… At the same time, I started to practice meditation and found a blind faith that was very enriching. This also led me to drive my new career to exciting pathways.
