Today we’d like to introduce you to Simone Knight
Hi Simone, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my career as an engineer working in tech manufacturing. I gained leadership experience early and learned how to develop people by understanding their goals and helping them connect their ambitions with internal growth opportunities for the business. I left manufacturing, then went into supply-chain, consulting and finally media. That is where I found my true calling, which is digital marketing transformation. Media is where I learned to combine the best of my skills, operations management, data analytics and marketing strategy.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve developed a personal brand as a marketing innovator, leveraging AI and operational excellence to develop cutting strategies that build capacity, increase audience engagement and create epic solutions that deliver big results. In my last corporate role as SVP of Marketing Strategy at TelevisaUnivision, I led a large team of over 100 professionals. Together, we won industry awards for creative design and data analytics in Marketing and I’m very proud.
When I think back at where it all started, I t makes me smile. I was a little girl just ten years old, in New York. On the weekends, I would go to work with my dad and watched while he serviced arcade games for his vending company. I became a fan of gaming and learned a lot about electronics. That was the spark to wanting a career in Engineering!
I had a goal of becoming an Engineer, but sometimes your dreams are tested by those that you least expect. I attended a technical high school in Brooklyn, NY that had recently been converted from an all-boys school to co-ed. In my Sophomore year, I had a teacher tell me that I would never be an engineer and actively discouraged me for pursuing this career, all because I was not doing well in his class. Only three months later, under the guidance of new teachers, I became top of my class and went on to obtain my Electrical Engineering degree from a top University in New York. Additionally, I later added two post-bachelor certifications in project management and as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. I learned a valuable lesson from that experience with my teacher… only you can hold you back. I take that lesson with me always.
Now, I’m Founder of Brandiverse Marketing, a consultancy that helps brands modernize their marketing with AI. I bring all my career experiences from operations, leadership, project management, consulting and media to deliver cutting edge AI Marketing transformation to my clients across industries.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There have certainly been challenges with career progression, health and ambition. As a career focused professional, balancing time, marriage and motherhood can sometimes be challenging. The stress of having a toddler, starting my MBA and then getting the opportunity to start a new job only three months later, presented some very stressful moments. Juggling everything led to a cancer diagnosis. That’s when I learned that I can’t do everything all at once, no matter how hard I tried. Ten years later, I cherish my lessons from battling cancer, managing stress, and prioritizing what’s important. I share those lessons with other women as a cautionary tale that led to the empathetic leader I am today.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Brandiverse Marketing?

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Helping people be better than they thought possible is what makes me happy and that’s why I always over deliver. I like to see the joy of accomplishment on their face when they exceed their own expectations of what’s possible.
