Hidden Gems: Meet Raymond Laventure of Laventure Agency

Today we’d like to introduce you to Raymond Laventure.

Hi Raymond , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Unlike most people who go through high school and college still trying to figure out their path, I had a pretty clear sense of direction early on. When I was in eighth grade, I was placed in a TV production class at my middle senior high school, and that experience changed everything for me. Being behind the camera, learning how to piece together visuals, and seeing an idea come to life made it click right away. I knew from that point on that this was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

From there, I stayed committed to that vision. I continued developing my skills and eventually went on to study film at the University of Central Florida, where I sharpened both the creative and technical sides of storytelling. That time really helped me understand how to be intentional with my work and how to create content that connects with people.

After graduating, I took the leap to build something of my own and launched Laventure Agency. In the beginning, I was hands on with everything, from shooting and editing to directing and managing clients. That phase taught me a lot about discipline, problem solving, and what it really takes to deliver high quality work consistently.

Over time, I started working on larger campaigns and building a strong network of creatives. Now I focus more on directing and producing, while also growing a team and scaling the agency. My goal has always been to create meaningful, visually compelling content that helps brands tell their story in a real way, and I am continuing to build on that every day.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. In a lot of ways, it’s been the opposite. The journey has been challenging from the start, and even now it still is, just in different ways.

A big part of that comes from constantly evolving. I am always growing, learning more about what I like, what I don’t like, and what kind of work I truly want to stand behind. Even something as simple as pricing has been a challenge at times. Understanding my worth and being confident in my value, especially as that value continues to increase, is something I’ve had to work through over and over again.

Figuring out how to manage clients, lead projects, and maintain a high level of quality while scaling hasn’t always been easy. Each new level brings a different set of challenges. I’ve come to accept that the struggle is part of the process.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Laventure Agency?
Laventure Agency is a full service creative production company focused on film, photography, and brand storytelling. We specialize in creating high quality commercial and lifestyle content that helps brands connect with their audience in a real and meaningful way. From concept development to final delivery, we handle the entire process with a strong emphasis on visual quality, storytelling, and execution.

What really sets us apart is how hands on and intentional we are with every project. I built the agency from the ground up, so that mindset is still embedded in everything we do. We are not just showing up to shoot, we are thinking through the message, the audience, and how the content will actually perform. Whether it is a campaign, branded content, or social assets, we approach every project with a balance of creativity and strategy.

Over time, we have had the opportunity to work with some incredible talent and brands. That includes working with tennis star Sloane Stephens, collaborating on a podcast project with Terrence J, and being part of projects connected to Dwyane Wade. On the brand side, we have partnered with companies like Spotify, McDonald’s, Deloitte, Under Armour, Volvo, and Buick, among others. Those experiences have helped shape our standards and continue to push us to operate at a high level.

Brand wise, what I am most proud of is the reputation we are building for consistency and growth. We are known for delivering clean, polished visuals while still making content feel authentic. We are also building an internal team while continuing to work with a strong network of freelancers, which allows us to scale depending on the size of the project.

At the end of the day, I want readers to know that Laventure Agency is built on vision, work ethic, and intention. We are here to create, to grow with our clients, and to produce content that actually makes an impact.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Networking is literally in everything you do. It is not just the big meetings or planned conversations, it is also the small interactions, the way you carry yourself, how you treat people, and how you show up in everyday moments. You are constantly networking whether you realize it or not, so it becomes more about being intentional in every space you step into.

My biggest advice for finding a mentor or building strong connections is to always lead with kindness. People remember how you make them feel long after they forget what you said or what you did. If you are genuine, respectful, and consistent, that opens a lot more doors than trying to force opportunities or relationships.

For me, networking has never been about chasing people. It has been about building real connections, staying consistent, and being someone others can trust and want to work with.
