Hidden Gems: Meet Pablo Lucchesi of Crown Linen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pablo Lucchesi.

Hi Pablo, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I co-founded Crown Linen in 2003 with a group of investors who shared a long-term vision and a disciplined approach to building the business. We started with a small operation in South Florida and focused on reinvesting in people, equipment, and process discipline rather than pursuing rapid growth.

That foundation allowed us to expand thoughtfully across Florida and Georgia, building a multi-plant network designed for redundancy and scalability. Today, Crown Linen remains owner-operated, with a continued focus on operational resilience and long-term partnerships with hospitality customers.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey has certainly had its challenges, shaped by the same economic cycles that have affected the broader economy, including the 2008 credit crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. Each of those periods tested the hospitality industry and required us to adapt quickly and operate with discipline.

At the same time, those moments reinforced the importance of our long-term approach. Florida’s sustained tourism growth has been a powerful tailwind, and by staying focused on reliability, reinvesting in our operations, and supporting our customers through both downturns and recoveries, Crown Linen emerged stronger and well positioned for continued growth.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Crown Linen is a leading commercial laundry provider trusted by upscale hotels and resorts throughout South Florida. We serve properties throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, with additional operations in Atlanta, Orlando and along the Gulf Coast. Our facilities are equipped with cutting-edge machinery and advanced automation to enable faster, high-volume processing and reduce water and energy usage. These modern upgrades provide reliable and consistent service to our hotel partners. With many new hotels removing in-house laundry facilities, we are proud to be a trusted source of clean linens for the local hospitality community.

We are thrilled to be opening a new 50,000 square-foot laundry facility in Pompano Beach this year. The facility marks a major milestone for Crown Linen as we expand our capacity to meet the rising demand of South Florida’s growing lodging market and introduces one of the most technologically advanced hospitality laundry operations to debut in the state. We will be the first and only commercial laundry of this size in Broward County, giving hotels a local partner for timely and consistent linen management.
