Today we’d like to introduce you to Nigel LigeN.
Hi Nigel, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Rapping while in high school and I was more of a freestyle rapper. I started to structure songs maybe a little after high school and when people started to catch on and vibe I started doing it more and more. I took rap more serious when it became an outlet for me to vent and release my pain now the fact that everyone seems to relate was just the cherry on top. I got where I am from passion and hard work. I never stop making music and I suppose I won’t until my pain stops.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road, this has been a dirt road on some wrong turn or Texas chain saw massacre movie type vibe nah mean, lol. I’ve been on stages with Dababy, Beyonce, Kirk Franklin, Canton Jones and many more but I didn’t take this serious until about a year ago when I met my manager Tech. He showed me the ins and outs of the business and that talent means nothing without a goal or plan in place. Before I met Tech I didn’t really have a plan I was just dropping music “hoping” to get heard.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about TCA Entertainment?
I’m a street nigga that loves GOD, I’ve seen some of the worst and been in some of the worst situations so I have a lot to cent about and I feel like I can help people get thru their problems. I guess I’m more of a political rapper but I do like to have fun too. I’m known for my bars and witty punchlines. What sets me apart from other people is that I’m myself in every room. I laugh when I want to laugh and I joke when I want to joke. When It’s time for business I can snap right into the artist legiN and when I’m off the stage, I’m Nigel. Brand wise, I think I’m most proud to let people know what GOD has done for me but I’ve done it without being pushy or “preachy” cause no one wants to be forced to do anything. My brand is creative inspiration and motivation. We have shirts, wristbands and socks dropping soon with GOD First and legiN being the brand on them. I want everyone to know that you can be a legiN in your craft or in your specific profession if you have passion and keep GOD First.
How do you think about happiness?
I’m happy that my experiences didn’t take me out or cause me to go crazy. I’m happy that I have found my purpose and living it and I’m fully invested both mentally and physically. I give my all to this.
