Hi Mike , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was in the internet start up space. It was like a “Linkedin” for Blue Collar Jobs. I used to live in New Jersey and worked for a family business. Moved back to Florida in 2017 and started a company called American Metal Roofing Supply. We provided standing seam and 5v Exposed Fastener Systems to Roofing Contractors. I realized Real Estate is integrated within that industry and took a leap of faith to get my license.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. Negative energy from friends. I had a near death experience. I felt very lonely. Hanging out with people that drained my energy. I realized quality outweighs quantity. I realized sometimes I feel like I was smartest person in the room. I decided to start a mens professional signaling group called Apex Circle Inc. that are for Male Entrepreneurs that are aligned with my principals and values.
