Today we’d like to introduce you to Michail Christofakis.
Hi Michail, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I got my real estate license 10 years ago as i moved to Miami. I wanted to have a direct access to the real estate market and not wait for people to show up. I was tired of giving away a significant portion of my earnings to the brokerage i was working for and after working with a few for the last 10 years that i had my real estate license i decided to step it up and start my own. It was not easy because when taking the leap of faith and opening your own business, there is no one to really carry you forward other than yourself. But with belief and persistence obstacles can be eliminated. The lessons i learned along the way really comes down to one. That you got to believe in yourself, never doubt what you are capable of and never stop. Also you have to embrace the deniers and the ones who look down on you not to prove them right but because they can show you where to improve and do better.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It is never an easy road but what matters is the journey. I had to re-assess and change lanes couple times to reach at the point where i am now. I had to go through the agent life and 3 different brokerages to realize that i could myself have my on brokerage that would allow me to open my online real estate school.
We’ve been impressed with CIEN REALTY LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a licensed real estate broker in Florida and i own a real estate brokerage in South Florida called CIEN REALTY LLC. What was your favorite childhood memory?
Hanging out with my family at our vacation home in Crete. Unique greek island with many different cultures that mingle all year long.
