Hi Melitsa, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born to heroin-addicted parents and became a foster child, navigating life on my own since I was just 15 years old. Growing up, I faced a lot of challenges, but I truly believe that things don’t happen to you—they happen for you. Those hardships shaped me into the person I am today, and they fueled my drive to succeed.
Now, I’m the founder of the #1 entrepreneurship platform in Miami, and my mission is to elevate and inspire others to take their lives to the next level. I’ve been through adversity, but it taught me that no matter where you start, you can always create your own path to greatness.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Has it been a smooth road? Absolutely not. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. Every challenge and obstacle I faced helped shape who I am today. Without my past, I wouldn’t have the strength, resilience, and determination that drive me forward. It’s those tough moments that built the foundation for everything I’ve achieved, and for that, I’m truly grateful.

It’s easy to get advice from friends or family, but unless they’re living the life or running the business you aspire to, their advice may not lead you in the right direction. Surround yourself with people who elevate you and have the success you’re striving for. Stay focused, be coachable, and trust in the journey.
