Hi Katerina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Long before I opened my atelier, I was the person rearranging rooms, studying light, noticing fabrics, and paying attention to the subtle details that change the entire atmosphere of a home
Drapery became an obsession naturally. To me, curtains are not simply decorative. They frame the way a space is experienced. They soften architecture, shape natural light, and bring a sense of intimacy that makes an interior feel complete. Without them, even beautiful spaces can feel unfinished.
What started as a personal fascination evolved into a custom curtain atelier focused on craftsmanship, proportion, and timeless interiors
Today, we create pieces that are meant to quietly elevate a room elegant and deeply tailored to the people who live there
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely wasn’t a perfectly smooth road I think one of the hardest things for anyone creative is finding where they truly belong
I’ve lived in several major cities around the world, and while that experience shaped my aesthetic and perspective in an incredible way, it also came with instability and constant reinvention. Starting over in new places teaches you resilience very quickly
You learn how to create beauty and comfort even when life itself feels uncertain.
Those experiences deeply influenced the way I see interiors today. I realized that a home is never defined by square footage or architecture alone — it’s defined by feeling

We create custom drapery, curtains, and sheers, while also handling all technical aspects, including curtain tracks, hardware, and installation — so the process feels effortless for our clients

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to deliver bad news quickly In a business with so many moving parts — suppliers, seamstresses, installations, timelines, challenges are inevitable
But the earlier your team and clients know about a problem, the easier it is to find the right solution
That’s why we never overpromise
I believe honesty, transparency, and clear communication are just as important as beautiful design
