Hi Julissa, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Born in the vibrant city of New York to Dominican parents, my journey has always been rooted in hard work and strong family values. In 1989, my life took a new turn as I moved to Florida, where I completed my senior year of high school. From that point forward, Florida became home. It’s where I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees and where I embarked on a 27-year career in the corporate world. But something was missing—until I decided to take a leap and pursue my passion for real estate full-time.
Now, with over 9 years of experience in the real estate industry, I’ve had the privilege of helping countless sellers, buyers, and investors realize their dreams. One of my greatest joys is assisting investors, both locally and internationally, through our property management company, ensuring that their investments are well-cared for.
In addition to real estate, giving back to the community has always been a core value of mine. I’m honored to support causes close to my heart, such as The Alzheimer’s Association Annual Broward Walk, Instituto Duartiano en la Florida, and other community foundations. Through these efforts, I aim to make a difference in the lives of those in need, strengthening the ties that bind us all.
Beyond real estate and community service, I love to travel, spend time with family and friends, and meet new people from all walks of life. Socializing and helping others is at the core of who I am. I’m also incredibly blessed to have a wonderful life and business partner, two amazing nephews, and two beloved pet nephews who bring joy to my life every day.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
While the road hasn’t always been smooth, I prefer to focus on the positive side, as every challenge presents an opportunity to learn and grow. The real estate industry is dynamic and unpredictable at times, but I see countless opportunities to empower the community through real estate education. There have been struggles, like adapting to market shifts and building a new career from the ground up after years in the corporate world. However, I’ve turned those challenges into stepping stones.
By guiding individuals in making the best investment decisions, I’ve found immense satisfaction in helping them build wealth and secure their financial futures. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of someone’s journey into homeownership, and I remain focused on assisting more people to achieve their dreams, ensuring they feel confident and supported every step of the way.

The most important quality that has contributed to my success is my dedication to helping others.
