Today we’d like to introduce you to Jorge Trebbiani.
Hi Jorge, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my journey in motorsports at a very young age, like many professional drivers — behind the wheel of a kart. Growing up in Argentina, karting was not just a hobby for me; it became the foundation of everything that would come later. I progressed through all the traditional stages of a racing career: from karting to formula cars, and eventually to touring cars, gaining experience within different teams, structures, and levels of competition.
What shaped my career the most was the variety of environments I competed in. Each category required a different type of discipline, technical understanding, and adaptability. Over the years, I developed a deep knowledge of racing from every angle — not only driving, but also the mechanical side, how to read a vehicle’s behavior, how to communicate with engineers and mechanics, and how to manage the mental and emotional pressure that comes with competing at a high level.
After retiring from professional racing, I realized that what I had learned throughout my career had tremendous value for the next generation of drivers. That realization became the seed for what I’m building today in Miami: Trebbiani Racing, LLC, a driver development academy focused on forming complete athletes.
My goal now is to guide young drivers — especially kids who are starting in karting — through a comprehensive approach that goes far beyond driving skills. Our program includes technical knowledge of the vehicle, track strategy, sports psychology, physical conditioning, and all the tools a driver truly needs to grow and perform. We also aim to create a competitive team that will participate in local and regional championships, giving students real racing experience.
Coming to the United States allowed me to bring this vision to a place with an expanding motorsports community and a strong interest in youth development. Today, I am fully dedicated to building Trebbiani Racing as a space where young talent can grow with professional guidance, solid values, and a clear path in the world of motorsports.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — and I say that with gratitude rather than frustration. Like in any professional sports career, there were many difficult moments: setbacks, mechanical failures, financial limitations, missed opportunities, and the mental pressure that comes with trying to grow in a highly competitive environment.
But looking back, those challenges were the most formative part of my journey. Racing teaches you very early that things won’t always go your way, and that success often depends on how you respond when everything seems to be going wrong. Learning to extract value from those moments — instead of being defeated by them — is what allows you to evolve, not just as an athlete, but as a person.
There were times when progress felt slow, when results didn’t reflect the work I was putting in, or when unexpected obstacles forced me to rethink my path. But each of those experiences strengthened my resilience, sharpened my ability to adapt, and helped me understand the emotional side of the sport, which is something I deeply emphasize today when working with young drivers.
In motorsports, the difficult moments are not exceptions; they’re part of the road. And embracing that reality is what ultimately shaped my philosophy for Trebbiani Racing. I want young drivers to know that setbacks are not the end — they’re opportunities to grow, refine their mindset, and become stronger both on and off the track.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Trebbiani Racing LLC?
Trebbiani Racing, LLC is a driver development academy focused on building complete athletes, not just fast drivers. We work mainly with young karting talents and offer a holistic program that combines driving skills, technical understanding of the vehicle, mental coaching, and physical conditioning.
What sets us apart is our integrated approach. We don’t teach only how to drive — we teach drivers how to think, feel, prepare, and communicate like true professionals. From understanding how a kart behaves, to managing pressure, to developing healthy habits, we cover every area a young driver needs to grow.
I’m most proud that our brand stands for real guidance and real development. Our goal is to give kids the tools to succeed both on and off the track. We’ll also be competing in local championships with our own team so students can apply everything they learn in real racing environments.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories — and one of the defining moments of my life — was when I made the transition from formula cars to touring-style cars and debuted in a major category. I became the youngest driver in the history of that series to compete, and that experience marked me forever. I still remember the mix of excitement, nerves, and pride. It was the moment I realized that racing wasn’t just a childhood dream anymore — it was truly becoming my life.
