Hidden Gems: Meet Jasmine Fisch of Fisch Photography

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Fisch.

Hi Jasmine, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I didn’t start photography with the intention of turning it into a business. It began as a creative outlet and a way to document moments. Early on, I spent a lot of time in the ocean and doing underwater photography, which taught me how to work with natural light, movement, and have patience.

Alongside photography, I have built my career in marketing, which has given me a strong foundation in branding, storytelling, and client experience. As I began photographing friends and couples, what started as a passion slowly grew through word of mouth into a business. Over time, I’ve refined my style and approach while staying focused on creating images that feel natural and timeless.

Today, I photograph brands, couples, families, and meaningful milestones throughout South Florida.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like many creatives, one of the biggest challenges was learning how to balance the creative side of photography with the business side. Building confidence, pricing my work appropriately, and trusting my own style has taken time.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Fisch Photography?
My photography business focuses on couples, families, milestone moments, and brand photography, with an emphasis on natural light and a relaxed, timeless style. Much of my work takes place outdoors, drawing inspiration from the coastal environment and keeping sessions feeling easy and natural.

Brand wise, I’m most proud of building a business that has grown organically through referrals and repeat clients. I want readers to know that my focus is on creating images that feel natural, personal, and lasting, along with an experience that feels just as thoughtful.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
What’s worked best for me is building genuine relationships rather than having a formal mentorship. I’m also not afraid to connect with others in my industry, even those who could be seen as competition. Some of the most valuable support and opportunities I’ve found have come from peer relationships. I truly believe the industry is better when creatives work together and lift each other up.
