Hidden Gems: Meet Guy Antoine of Metajetz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Guy Antoine.

Hi Guy , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Born in Haiti and raised in Lynn, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston, I grew up in a traditional Haitian household where education, hard work, and building a secure future were deeply ingrained values. In my family, the expected path was clear: go to school, earn a degree, and pursue a respected profession such as medicine, law, or engineering. Entrepreneurship and aviation were never part of the original plan.

After graduating high school, I went straight to college to pursue nursing. I completed my first two years before deciding to take a step back. The cost of living on campus had become a financial challenge, and I wanted to work, save money, and reassess my next move. What I thought would be a temporary pause in my education became the turning point that completely changed the trajectory of my life.

I took a position at the airport as a ramp agent, where I was introduced to aviation from an entirely different perspective. Within months, I crossed paths with a mentor who recognized my potential and introduced me to the world of corporate and private aviation. He taught me the business behind the industry—from sourcing aircraft and understanding the unique capabilities of different aircraft types to identifying the right solutions for clients, developing relationships, and navigating the highly personal world of private travel.

I quickly realized that aviation was more than an industry—it was an opportunity to build something of my own.

Over the years, I transformed my experience and relationships within the industry into an entrepreneurial career built around trust, service, relationships, and an understanding of what high-level clients expect. My work has allowed me to collaborate with A-list entertainers, major recording artists, CEOs, executives, and other high-profile individuals, while creating a network that extends well beyond aviation.

That journey has also taken me around the world. One of the most memorable chapters of my career was having the opportunity to travel internationally and tour with one of the biggest names in Afrobeats, giving me a firsthand look at the intersection of aviation, entertainment, business, and global culture.

After nearly 11 years in aviation, I’ve learned that entrepreneurship is not always about having a business idea from the beginning. Sometimes, it’s about recognizing an opportunity, learning everything you can, building relationships, taking calculated risks, and having the courage to create your own lane.

My journey from a young Haitian immigrant with a traditional career path in mind to an entrepreneur in the world of private aviation is a testament to the power of being open to unexpected opportunities. The road has required patience, sacrifice, resilience, and countless hours of work—but it has also given me the freedom to build a career on my own terms, travel the world, and create opportunities that I once never imagined were possible

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges was learning the business on a deeper level—there’s so much that goes on behind the scenes in aviation, and it takes time, experience, and consistency to truly understand it. Another major challenge was building trust and establishing long-term relationships with clients. In this industry, it’s not just about getting a client once; it’s about earning their trust so they continue to come back and refer you to others. Building that level of trust took time, but it became one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.

We’ve been impressed with Metajetz , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is centered around private and corporate aviation, specializing in providing personalized aircraft solutions tailored to each client’s needs. Whether it’s arranging private travel for executives, entertainers, high-profile individuals, or families, my focus is on making the entire experience seamless, efficient, and discreet.

What sets me apart is the relationships I’ve built over the years and the level of attention I bring to every client. In this industry, trust is everything. I take the time to understand what my clients need, their travel preferences, and what matters most to them, rather than simply treating each trip like a transaction.

I’m most proud of building a brand rooted in trust, relationships, professionalism, and consistency. After nearly 11 years in aviation, I’ve been fortunate to build a strong network and work with some incredible people across entertainment, business, and other industries.

Ultimately, I want people to know that my brand represents more than private aviation—it represents personalized service, reliability, and creating an experience where clients know they’re in good hands from the moment they reach out to me.
