Hidden Gems: Meet Franckel Jeanrisca of CASH DIREK SA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Franckel Jeanrisca.

Hi Franckel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Franckel Jeanrisca, and I am originally from Haiti, from a beautiful mountain city called Kenscoff, known for its pine trees, fresh air, and cool climate. I grew up there in a large family of eight children 5 boys and three girls and I am the eldest. From a very young age, I was surrounded by responsibility, leadership, and hard work.
My mother was my first and greatest teacher. Although she never had the opportunity to attend school, she deeply valued education and leadership. She taught me business sense, discipline, and the importance of serving others. Determined that her children would have opportunities she never had, she hired a teacher to help us after school and through that process, she herself learned to read and write her name. Her example shaped my life.
At age fifteen, I moved to Pétion-Ville to continue my studies at the National Lycée of Pétion-Ville. During that time, I became actively involved in community organizing, helping women many like my mother form grassroots organizations. One of those organizations is still active today, more than 30 years later.
Entrepreneurship has always been part of my journey. In Haiti, I created and managed several businesses, including a restaurant and a soft-drink warehouse. I also founded one of the first local cooperatives in my area, teaching people how to save money and introducing them to credit for the first time. My work in Haiti was never only about business, it was about creating opportunity, independence, and structure for my community.
In 2004, I moved to Miami, where I entered the professional workforce and learned what it truly meant to build within structured organizations. I worked first with David Moore’s moving company, then spent ten years with Mr. Cauff’s airline trading company, where I gained deep experience in operations, discipline, and long-term business development. I left in 2018, which marked the beginning of my full entrepreneurial path.
Since then, I founded Wally Express, a company specializing in tax services and life insurance, and later co-founded CSH DIREK, a Haitian fintech company.
CSH DIREK’s mission is to expand financial inclusion in Haiti by providing secure, accessible digital payment solutions, empowering individuals and small businesses, and modernizing the way people save, transfer, and manage money.
Our vision is to help build a stronger Haitian economy by connecting technology, trust, and community creating a financial ecosystem where Haitians, both locally and in the diaspora, can participate in sustainable growth.
Today, I oversee the day-to-day administration of CSH DIREK while continuing to build solutions that support Haiti’s development.
I am also a husband and a father of three. My oldest daughter is currently in university, and we are very proud of her. I have two daughters and one son, and everything I build is driven by the desire to leave them and my country a stronger future.
My journey has always been about work, resilience, faith, and community impact. Where I am today is the result of years of responsibility, entrepreneurship, and a commitment to serve.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road. Growing up in Haiti, life itself is a challenge. My mother was a small business owner; she traveled to the capital to buy goods and resell them in our local community. My father was a farmer. Because of them, we always had food on our table and enough to pay for school, but never enough to save or help others start businesses. From an early age, I became a leader who believed in the power of community. With very limited resources, I always found ways to connect people and create opportunities. My brothers were always by my side we worked together, and that is how we began creating small funds to move forward. It was never smooth, and today it feels even harder. Haitian people often struggle to do business together, and we lack strong group economics. In America, Haitians are often left behind if I can say it this way, we are still in the back of the bus. Despite these challenges, my experiences taught me resilience, collaboration, and the importance of building together, even when the odds are against us.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about CASH DIREK SA?
CSH DIREK is a Haitian fintech company created to solve real, everyday financial problems. We specialize in electronic payment services and digital financial solutions designed for Haiti’s economic reality simple, secure, and accessible.
At its core, CSH DIREK is a financial services provider (FSP) focused on electronic payments, money transfers, merchant solutions, and digital wallets. Our work is centered on helping individuals, small businesses, and institutions move money safely, and transact more efficiently. We are especially committed to supporting the unbanked and underbanked population by giving them tools to participate in the formal financial system.
What sets CSH DIREK apart is that we are built from the ground up for Haiti. We are not copying foreign systems we are designing technology around local behavior, local commerce, and local challenges. We operate with strong regulatory awareness, work within Haiti’s financial framework, and position ourselves as a serious, structured fintech partner rather than just a payment app.
Brand-wise, what I am most proud of is trust and purpose. In an environment where confidence in financial systems can be fragile, CSH DIREK is being built on transparency, compliance, and long-term vision. Our brand is not about fast hype it is about building infrastructure people can rely on.
Our mission is to expand financial inclusion, empower entrepreneurs, and modernize payments in Haiti. Our vision is to help create a connected financial ecosystem where Haitians locally and in the diaspora can securely transact, grow businesses, and build economic stability.
What I want readers to know is that CSH DIREK is more than a company it is a development platform. Every service we design is meant to reduce friction, open opportunity, and strengthen economic participation. We are building tools that help merchants grow, families manage money, and communities move forward.
CSH DIREK represents innovation with responsibility, technology with identity, and business with national purpose.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
We are actively open to collaborations, partnerships, and mission-driven professionals who want to be part of building something meaningful for Haiti.
CSH DIREK is looking to work with young professionals with purpose people who don’t just want a job, but want to help build systems, create wealth, and leave real impact. We believe Haiti does not lack ideas; it lacks organized execution, unity, and long-term commitment.
We welcome collaboration with accountants, economists, software developers, marketers, compliance professionals, and fundraising specialists who want to contribute their skills to a serious fintech project focused on sustainable development.
Our approach is simple: let’s work together to create value, not dependency. Haiti does not need more handouts. It needs strong businesses, modern infrastructure, and people willing to invest their knowledge, time, and discipline. This is a call especially to the Haitian diaspora it is time to move beyond discussion and division and start building coordinated solutions.
What we are inviting people to do is to put participation before opinion and contribution before criticism. CSH DIREK is a platform, but the larger mission is nation-building through economic empowerment.
To anyone who believes in structured growth, ethical business, and Haitian-led solutions: our doors are open. Let’s try again, together and build something that lasts.
