Hidden Gems: Meet Dimitrios Kentis of Kentis Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dimitrios Kentis.

Hi Dimitrios, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey into real estate started with a simple goal: build something based on trust, not just transactions.

I began my career at RE/MAX, one of the largest real estate companies, where I worked as a realtor and marketing director. That experience gave me a strong foundation in both sales and how to position properties effectively in the market.

Early on, I understood that real estate is a major life decision, which shaped the way I work with clients. Over time, I focused on the South Florida market, especially high-end homes and new developments, and built my business largely through referrals.

As I grew, I created Kentis Realty to offer a more personalized and refined experience. Today, everything I do is built on consistency, discipline, and treating every client with integrity and respect.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge helped me grow.

Starting in a new country was one of the biggest obstacles. Coming from Greece, my network was very limited, and the local community was small, so I had to build everything from the ground up. That meant putting in extra effort to connect with people, earn trust, and establish my name in a competitive market.

I also learned early on how important it is to stay focused on your own path. In any industry, there are different approaches, but I chose to stay committed to strong ethics and long-term relationships.

Looking back, those challenges shaped my discipline and mindset. They pushed me to become more consistent, more focused, and more intentional in the way I build my business.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At Kentis Realty, the focus is on providing a strategic and personalized approach to every client. I work across a range of properties, from high-end homes and new developments to opportunities that offer strong value before they reach the public market.

A big part of what I do is identifying deals early and helping clients secure properties at the right price. At the same time, I work closely with individuals who simply need guidance and someone they can trust throughout the process.

What sets me apart is the way I approach relationships. I focus on honesty, clarity, and long-term trust rather than just closing a deal. Many of my clients come through referrals, which is something I’m proud of because it reflects the level of confidence people have in the way I work.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of building something that represents consistency, discretion, and a genuine commitment to each client. I want people to know that when they work with me, they’re getting more than a service, they’re getting someone fully invested in their outcome.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I like most about our city is the energy and the diversity. You have people from all over the world, strong business opportunities, and a lifestyle that is hard to match. It’s a place where you can grow, build, and constantly evolve.

What I like least is how fast everything moves. The market is very competitive and constantly changing, which can make it challenging for both buyers and sellers to navigate. But at the same time, that’s also what creates opportunity if you understand how to move in it.

  • • Pricing varies significantly based on location, building, and timing within the market.
  • • Pre-construction opportunities often provide more flexible pricing and early incentives.
  • • Some of the best opportunities are secured before reaching the public market.
  • • In today’s market, strategy and timing are just as important as the price itself.
  • • My focus is helping clients secure the best value based on their goals and timing.
