
Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniella Miranda.
Hi Daniella, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Daniella’s experience in the event industry began when she was just six years old. Growing up in the industry, she developed a keen eye for detail and a passion for working hands-on with clients at a very young age. She grew up coming to the Club of Knights with her father before it was what it is today, so it is safe to say the venue has a very special place in her heart. After graduating high school, she decided she was going to focus full-time on the Club of Knights. She quickly exceeded all expectations and became an essential asset to the company and earned the title of Event Sales Director.
At work, Daniella spends most of her day’s meeting and speaking with our clients to gain a grasp of their vision and guide them in the right direction. She lives for creating the most amazing experience for her clients and always gives her all. She is the wheels that keep things running smoothly before, during and after any event that is held at the Club.
Daniella is the definition of work hard, play hard. Although she spends almost seven days a week making sure things are running smoothly at the Club, she still makes time to do other things she loves. When she’s not working, you can find her hanging out with her French Bulldog, Bruno, or traveling the world with her family.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
When Daniella’s father, Juan Carlos, first came to the US, he had a vision to create something remarkable. In 2004, he was first introduced to the Club of Knights and decided he was going to invest all of his energy into transforming it into a profitable business. Of course, this did not happen overnight, but rather years of up and downs and lots of hard work and dedication. In 2016, Daniella officially joined forces with her father while in the midst of construction and restructuring of the entire company. There were many bumps in the road, but together, they created the Club as it is today.
More recently, due to the ongoing pandemic, their business took a large hit. They had to postpone over 130 events and, unfortunately, had to furlow many employees. 80% of their clients could not fulfill their contract during the peak of Covid 19. Thankfully, they were able to keep all their essential people on payroll, but with no money coming in, it was a definite struggle.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Although Covid has presented many struggles, it also gave our clients the opportunity to think about what they truly wanted for their special day. Most people in the industry were predicting that micro-weddings would be the new trend, but that is not the case at the Club of Knights. From what we have seen, our clients are going over the top with their events now that they can finally celebrate with their loved ones. It’s safe to say big weddings are making a comeback. Our bookings have skyrocketed and are higher than they were pre-Covid. Due to high demand, we are in the process of adding a second venue to Best Miami Weddings and in five years, we hope to add a third. We are very excited for what’s in store!
