Today we’d like to introduce you to Artur Klimov
Hi Artur, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always been into art since I was little. In school, I had good results in drawing and painting, but after that, I didn’t continue. I reconnected with my passion after moving to the USA. It was hard to start the life from zero as an immigrant in a new country, so design became a hobby, something that helped me feel better after long hours of work.
I started designing T-shirts by accident. I struggled to find tees with unique and cool designs from popular brands, so I decided to make my own custom designs. The more I got into designing and coming up with ideas, the more I realized how much I liked the retro and vintage feel of T-shirts. After a couple of sales and some very excited feedback from friends, I decided to take it more seriously.
That’s when I organized all my designs and ordered more T-shirts. I understand that the market is full of different brands and the competition is tough, but I know my best strategy is to stick to my vision—to create unique retro-style prints and combine them with different fabrics.
After my trip to Thailand, I met my life partner, and that took my ideas and possibilities for the business to the next level. I’m blessed to have someone who supports me in areas where I’m not as strong, and I can trust that the work will be done exceptionally well.
My journey with Artree Design is just starting, and it wouldn’t be possible without the people around me, especially my loved ones, who always support me.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s not easy to start as an immigrant when English is your second language. You have to educate yourself on everything—like creating designs in different programs, finding the right suppliers, managing stock, learning how to run a website, Google ads, keyword research, and creating new collections, all while handling many other things. In the beginning, it was difficult to do all of this before and after my day job.
But the most important thing is finding the motivation to keep going every day. I feel lucky to have the talent and passion for what I do because, even on bad days, I still enjoy it and love seeing the results.

As I mentioned before, Artree Design focuses on creating retro-style clothing with a vintage look and feel. We specialize in combining colorful fabrics and shaping them into unique designs that capture that retro aesthetic, always prioritizing quality in everything we do. Our work is for people who appreciate craftsmanship and value timeless style.
