Today we’d like to introduce you to Alejandra Copeland.
Hi Alejandra, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Alejandra Copeland is a Miami-based storyteller and entrepreneur helping founders transform ideas into powerful narratives that win funding and visibility.
“I’ve been telling stories my whole life! First through video, and now through strategy,” says Copeland.
Alejandra started her career in New York as an editor at Viacom, working on promos for MTV and Nickelodeon. “MTV taught me how to grab attention and sell an idea in under 30 seconds. That’s where I learned how emotion and clarity drive connection.”
A few years later, she founded Andromeda Productions (andromedavisual.com), her Miami-based video agency. The company evolved from television projects to her true passion: corporate storytelling.
“We’ve worked with Fortune 500 companies and tech startups on videos, case studies, and investor pitches. Our secret wasn’t just producing beautiful content, but crafting stories that move business forward.”
That realization led to Ok Yes Pitch Storytelling (sayokyes.com). “Ok Yes helps entrepreneurs and small business owners build awareness and find the road to capital. I took two decades of marketing and video experience and turned it into a method that helps founders find their voice and their path to success.”
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
“The road hasn’t been smooth at all! But I’ve learned to love the bumps,” she laughs.
At 19, Alejandra left Venezuela to study visual communications in Paris. Later, she moved to New York chasing her dream of working at MTV with no job offer, and no safety net. “Every chapter of my career has been about taking big risks and betting on myself.”
Launching Ok Yes Pitch Storytelling was her biggest leap yet. “I went from running a successful production company to building a pitch-storytelling brand.”
2025 has been a pivotal year. She served as program director for Getting Pitch Ready, a three-day course for Hispanic female founders hosted by Venprendedoras (venprendedoras.com/pitch). Working with Mariela Briceño, Copeland helped women clarify business goals and build investor-ready plans. “Watching those founders gain confidence and secure funding reminded me exactly why I do this work.”
Another highlight: speaking at the We Are ALX Business Summit 2025 in Boston (https://wearealx.org/). Her talk, “Pitching Your Business,” was a huge success, and it introduced the FIT Storyboard framework: a storytelling model built on the customer journey of Failure, Innovation, and Transformation.
And there’s a full-circle twist: “I met Eneida Román, We Are ALX’s CEO, years ago at a networking event. That moment proved something I’ve always believed: networking and genuine relationships are the ultimate ROI.”
Alejandra Copeland calls this philosophy “Network to Net Worth.”
“Your support system is your most valuable asset when you’re building something new. Cultivate your tribe by giving first and helping others rise. That’s the spirit behind Ok Yes! We don’t gatekeep knowledge; we empower people with tools that create real change.”
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Ok Yes Pitch Storytelling?
“Ok Yes is all about helping entrepreneurs tell stories that make people say, ‘Ok yes!’”
Today, Copeland is merging her storytelling expertise with the world of AI visibility.
“People aren’t just searching on Google anymore. They’re asking AI tools like ChatGPT for recommendations. If your business isn’t showing up in those answers, you’re invisible to an entirely new audience.”
She spent over 200 hours researching Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), which is the practice of improving how AI systems understand and mention your brand.
“GEO is like SEO, but for AI. Instead of optimizing for search engines, you’re teaching AI engines to recognize your brand.”
Through her free guide “Top 3 No-Code Actions to Surge on ChatGPT” and her mini-course “GEO for Beginners,” Copeland breaks down this complex topic for entrepreneurs in plain English.
“I help brands get seen by both humans and machines, and I remind founders that clarity is the foundation of success.”
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Few people know Alejandra learned English in the 90’s by watching MTV with subtitles. “I’d sit in Caracas watching Metallica and Guns N’ Roses videos, reading the lyrics at the bottom of the screen. Walking into MTV’s headquarters at 1515 Broadway years later was surreal.”
She’s also surprisingly technical: “I build my own website, write schema markup, and handle SEO and GEO myself. I’m a creative with an engineer’s curiosity.”
