Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Dulger.
Hi Adam, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Adam, and I’m originally from Izmir, Turkey. I moved to the United States in 2009 and have built both my personal and professional life here in Miami. I’ve been married since 2022, and together my wife and I run a women’s fashion company called Athena Fashion, a brand that has become a meaningful and growing part of our lives.
I’ve spent the past 14 years in the natural stone industry. I began my career with a Turkish stone company, later joined Mohawk/Daltile, and in 2020 I became part of Stoneline Group. Today, I manage a branch and direct the project department at Stoneline Group, where we specialize in supplying premium natural stone materials. Our company operates as both a manufacturer and a wholesaler, giving us strong supply power—especially for commercial and residential high-rise developments throughout South Florida.
My daily work involves collaborating with architects, developers, contractors, and project managers to deliver high-volume materials for large-scale projects. Over the years, I’ve learned the importance of strong relationships, reliability, and consistent follow-through—values that define my approach to leadership and business.
Athena Fashion
Athena Fashion is the women’s clothing brand my wife and I founded, and it represents our combined passion for creativity and entrepreneurship. My wife leads the creative direction and style vision, while I handle the operational and business side.
Athena Fashion focuses on:
Elegant and modern eveningwear
High-quality materials and craftsmanship
Trend-forward designs
A personal and premium customer experience
Clean visuals and strong brand identity
Our goal is to create a brand that makes women feel confident, unique, and beautiful—whether it’s for special occasions or standout moments. Building Athena Fashion from the ground up has been one of the most rewarding parts of our journey.
Photography
Alongside my main career and business, I am also a photographer specializing in food and automotive photography. My style leans toward moody, cinematic visuals. Photography allows me to express a creative side that balances the more technical demands of the stone industry and business management. It has helped me connect with Miami’s artistic and cultural community, as well as local brands.
Personal Life
I’m a husband and a pet parent to a Bengal cat named Gia and a toy poodle named Mocha. I’m a lifelong Galatasaray fan, enjoy the stock market, and find inspiration in music, travel, and the energy of Miami. My journey—from growing up in Turkey to becoming a U.S. citizen and building multiple careers—reminds me every day of the importance of discipline, gratitude, and taking risks.
Looking Forward
My future goals include expanding the project capabilities at Stoneline Group, growing Athena Fashion into a nationally recognized brand, and continuing to develop my photography portfolio. Ultimately, I hope my story can inspire others who are starting from scratch, just as I did when I first arrived in the U.S.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all — it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, and I think that’s what shaped me the most.
Moving to the United States in 2009 as a young immigrant was a challenge on its own. I had to start from zero — new language, new culture, no connections, no financial cushion. I worked long hours, took every opportunity I could, and slowly built my career in the natural stone industry one step at a time. There were moments when I didn’t know if things were going to work out, but those years taught me discipline, resilience, and patience.
Professionally, the natural stone industry is demanding. Projects can be unpredictable, timelines shift, and dealing with high-rise developments means you are responsible for huge volumes, strict deadlines, and zero room for mistakes. Earning trust wasn’t easy; it took years of proving myself, learning the technical side of materials, and showing I was dependable even under pressure.
Starting Athena Fashion with my wife also came with challenges. Building a brand from scratch—especially in fashion—is not simple. We had to learn everything from sourcing to branding to customer experience. There were times when production issues, delays, or budgeting limits pushed us to rethink and adapt. But every obstacle helped us improve our process and understand our strengths.
Balancing multiple careers has also been a challenge. Managing a branch at Stoneline Group, supporting Athena Fashion, and pursuing photography on the side means my days are full. Time management became one of the biggest lessons.
But looking back, every struggle was necessary. Those experiences built my work ethic and shaped the life I have today. None of it was easy, but all of it was worth it.
As you know, we’re big fans of Athena fashion. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Athena Fashion is the women’s clothing brand my wife and I founded, and it’s become one of the projects we are most proud of. We specialize in elegant, modern eveningwear designed for women who want to feel confident, stylish, and unique during life’s most memorable moments. Our focus is on clean lines, high-quality fabrics, and timeless silhouettes that stand out without being overly complicated.
What sets Athena Fashion apart is the personal touch behind the brand. We’re not a mass-market company—we keep our collections curated and intentional. My wife leads the creative vision, carefully selecting every style, while I handle the operational side of the business. Together, we make sure our customers receive not only a beautiful dress but an exceptional experience from start to finish.
We take pride in the attention to detail, the quality of our materials, and the way our customers feel when they wear our pieces. The best part of building Athena Fashion has been seeing women choose our dresses for their special events—birthdays, engagements, celebrations, and nights they’ll always remember.
For readers discovering Athena Fashion for the first time, we want them to know that our brand is built with passion, intention, and care. Every piece is chosen with the goal of helping women look and feel their best. Our long-term vision is to continue expanding while maintaining the boutique, high-quality identity that makes Athena Fashion unique.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something that surprises a lot of people is how many different roles I balance behind the scenes. Most people know me either through the natural stone industry or through Athena Fashion or through my photography — but they rarely realize that I’m fully involved in all three at the same time.
People are often surprised to learn that I manage a branch and project department in the stone industry during the day, help run a fashion brand with my wife, and still carve out time to pursue photography as a creative outlet. Each part of my life is completely different from the others, but together they make up who I am.
Another thing that surprises people is how much of my journey was built from scratch. I came to the U.S. alone, with no connections, and had to rebuild my life step by step. The discipline, creativity, and work ethic people see today came from years of challenges, not overnight success.
And despite working in two very structured industries — construction materials and business operations — most people don’t expect me to have such a strong passion for the artistic side of photography. It’s usually the last thing they learn about me, but it’s one of the things that defines me the most.
