Shani, thanks for joining us again. We’re so excited to have a services focused conversation today. Can you bring our readers up to speed on the service-offering side?
I’m a Certified Pediatric Sleep Coach, lactation consultant, and I’m passionate about helping families navigate the often overwhelming challenges of infant and toddler sleep. Through my business, My Little Dreamer, I offer personalized sleep coaching for families, blending professional expertise with my own experience as a mom of three little boys.

What Inspired Me

My journey began after the birth of my first child. Like many new parents, I found myself sleep-deprived and struggling to make sense of my baby’s needs while managing my career. I realized that the lack of education and guidance on infant sleep was a huge gap for so many families, and I wanted to make a difference. I left my corporate career to pursue certifications in sleep coaching and lactation consulting, and I haven’t looked back. My mission is to empower parents with the tools and knowledge to support their children’s healthy sleep habits while fostering trust, communication, and a strong parent-child bond.

What I Offer

I specialize in a Baby-Led Sleep Approach, which is rooted in responsive, gentle methods that respect each baby’s natural rhythms and development. My services include one-on-one coaching, where I create customized sleep plans tailored to a family’s unique situation. I also provide workshops and corporate speaking engagements, helping both parents and employers understand the impact of sleep deprivation and how to establish healthy sleep routines from the start.

Key components of my services include:
• A Comprehensive Intake Process: I gather detailed information about the baby’s lifestyle, sleep environment, feeding habits, and parenting style to create an individualized plan.
• Personalized Sleep Coaching Plans: Each plan is tailored to the baby’s natural sleep patterns, ensuring solutions that align with the family’s goals and values.
• Lactation Support: I integrate breastfeeding expertise into my coaching to ensure a seamless approach for nursing moms.
• Ongoing Support: Sleep coaching doesn’t stop with a plan. I guide families every step of the way, providing reassurance, tools, and adjustments as needed.

What Problem I Solve

Parents often come to me exhausted, frustrated, and overwhelmed. The lack of consistent sleep can impact every part of a family’s life, from emotional well-being to work productivity. My services address these struggles by teaching families how to help their children sleep better, without resorting to rigid or outdated “cry-it-out” methods. I also bridge the gap for families who want a holistic approach that takes into account feeding, emotional development, and family dynamics.

Why My Services Are Unique

What sets My Little Dreamer apart is my baby-led, responsive approach that prioritizes trust and connection between parents and their child. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I take a collaborative approach, working closely with families to find tools that work for them. My background in lactation consulting and child development also allows me to address multiple aspects of sleep and caregiving, creating a well-rounded, compassionate experience.

Who I Serve

I work with expecting moms, new parents, and families with toddlers, as well as corporate teams looking to educate employees about the impact of sleep on performance and well-being. My clients are often busy parents who need practical, actionable solutions to improve their family’s quality of life. Whether it’s preparing for a newborn, tackling toddler sleep regressions, or supporting breastfeeding moms, I aim to empower families with knowledge and confidence.

Sleep isn’t just a biological need—it’s a skill. With the right guidance, families can establish healthy sleep habits that benefit their child’s development and create a more peaceful home environment. Thank you again for the opportunity to share my passion for helping families achieve better sleep!

Can you walk us through the onboarding process for a new client?
Step 1: 15-Minute Discovery Call

Every new client begins with a complimentary discovery call. This is an opportunity for us to connect, discuss your family’s specific sleep challenges, and explore how I can best support you. I’ll explain my approach and answer any initial questions. By the end of the call, you’ll have a clear understanding of what to expect moving forward.

Step 2: Intake Form

Once you decide to proceed, I provide a comprehensive Intake Form. This form gathers detailed information about your child’s sleep environment, feeding habits, medical history, parenting style, and daily routines. It’s designed to give me a holistic view of your family’s dynamics and goals, which helps me craft a plan tailored specifically to your needs.

Step 3: Sleep and Feeding Logs

In addition to the Intake Form, I send sleep and feeding logs for parents to fill out over three consecutive days. These logs captures:
• Your child’s current sleep patterns, including naps and nighttime sleep.
• Feeding schedules (breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, or solids).
• Wake windows and bedtime routines.

These logs are essential for understanding your child’s natural rhythms and identifying patterns or areas for improvement. Analyzing this data allows me to design a plan that aligns with your child’s unique needs.

Step 4: Sleep Environment Assessment

During the intake process, I also help evaluate your child’s sleep environment. We’ll review factors like lighting, temperature, sound, and safety. Optimizing these elements often makes an immediate difference in creating a sleep-friendly space.

Step 5: Custom Sleep Plan

Using the detailed information from the Intake Form and sleep/feeding logs, I create a personalized sleep plan. This plan is tailored to your child’s developmental stage, natural sleep rhythms, and your family’s specific goals. It includes actionable steps that are practical, manageable, and aligned with your parenting style.

Step 6: Implementation Coaching

With the plan in place, we move into the implementation phase. I guide you step-by-step as you apply the strategies and begin to see progress. This phase includes ongoing support to troubleshoot challenges, make necessary adjustments, and ensure the process feels approachable and effective.

Step 7: Follow-Up and Support

I provide follow-up sessions to monitor your child’s progress, address any setbacks, and refine the plan as needed. These sessions are also a great time to prepare for future challenges like travel, developmental milestones, or illness. My goal is to give you the tools and confidence to maintain these healthy sleep habits long-term.

Step 8: Long-Term Sleep Success

By the end of our work together, your family will have established consistent sleep routines that benefit both your child’s well-being and your family’s peace of mind. You’ll leave feeling empowered, equipped, and confident in handling your child’s sleep needs going forward.

This thorough onboarding process ensures every detail is covered so we can create a solution that works for your unique situation.

Is there a core message, value or ethos you are trying to communicate through your branding and marketing?
Yes, absolutely! The core message of my branding and marketing is centered around empowering parents to confidently guide their children toward healthy sleep habits while fostering trust, connection, and communication.

Core Values and Ethos

1. Gentle, Responsive Parenting
At My Little Dreamer, I believe in working with a child’s natural rhythms and emotional needs. My approach is rooted in compassion, prioritizing the bond between parents and their child rather than relying on rigid or one-size-fits-all methods like “cry-it-out.” This ethos aligns with parents who value a nurturing, respectful approach to caregiving.
2. Education and Empowerment
I aim to educate parents so they understand their child’s unique sleep needs and feel empowered to make informed decisions. My goal is not just to solve short-term sleep issues but to give families the tools to navigate sleep challenges independently in the future.
3. Tailored Solutions
Every family is different, so my services are personalized to suit individual needs, lifestyles, and parenting styles. I take pride in crafting customized plans that reflect each family’s values and goals, ensuring they feel supported and understood.
4. Trust and Connection
Sleep is about more than just rest—it’s about creating a foundation of trust and communication. I guide families in fostering security and predictability for their child, helping them feel confident and connected every step of the way.
5. Holistic Support
Sleep doesn’t exist in isolation—it’s tied to feeding, development, and environment. My expertise in lactation and child development allows me to provide a well-rounded approach that considers all these factors.

What I Want Families to Feel Through My Branding

I want families to feel seen, heard, and supported. Parenting—especially during those sleep-deprived stages—can feel isolating and overwhelming. My branding reflects warmth, empathy, and professionalism, signaling that I’m here to walk this journey with them. It’s about creating a sense of relief, hope, and confidence that better sleep is possible.

Tagline/Message

“Healthy sleep habits, gentle guidance, and peaceful nights for the whole family.”

This message embodies my mission to not only help babies and toddlers sleep better but to transform the entire family’s quality of life through sleep education, trust, and a tailored approach. My ultimate goal is for parents to feel confident, empowered, and at peace as they guide their children toward better sleep and brighter days.

What are you most thankful for?
I’m most thankful for the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families. Seeing parents go from feeling exhausted and overwhelmed to confident and well-rested is incredibly fulfilling. I’m deeply grateful for the trust families place in me to help them navigate one of the most challenging aspects of parenting—sleep.

On a personal level, I’m thankful for my own family—my husband and three little boys—who inspire everything I do. They’ve taught me the value of patience, resilience, and unconditional love, all of which guide my work.

Finally, I’m thankful for the community I’ve built through My Little Dreamer. Connecting with parents, partnering with other professionals, and sharing this journey with so many amazing people fills me with gratitude every day. Helping others is truly my passion, and I feel incredibly lucky to call this my career.
