Gardy Beaucicaut shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Gardy, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Have you ever been glad you didn’t act fast?
Truthfully, I live each day to not act out of haste. By taking this into account, this allows me to appreciate each moment for what it can teach me. Moreover, being mindful of this matter has allowed me to live my life to serve others in a way where they know they are being heard abundantly. This can either be communicated either verbally, mentally, physically and emotionally. There’s is no greater principle, that can surpass love and listening with an open heart.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello everyone, my name is Gardy. I am originally from Brooklyn NY, but have lived in Florida for about 18 years. What made me and my family transition to Florida when I was 14 yrs of age, was overall for a better standard of living. Florida is definitely where the Sun is at that’s for sure. Moreover, I had the utmost privilege to attend highschool and college in Florida. I had always thought my purpose was to make an impact in either law or medicine, but God had a greater plan. At the rightful age of 22, I had the privilege to make and leverage the mindset of financially independent connections while in college. And from that moment on I felt the convicted to live and attain a lifestyle for a greater cause. Learning about the impact of how e-commerce platforms can position be to exercise ownership, pursue personal development, elevate my attitude, dream big, and most importantly have a consistent work habit, has allowed me to get outside of my comfort zone and commit to leadership. There’s a saying that everything rises and falls on leadership, and it is by first learning how to lead ourselves, than God will position us to lead others. And I am proud to be an example in this aspect!
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My greatest memory of feeling powerful, was when I realized that there’s nothing more attractive than a man that serves God.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering has thought me lessons that success wouldn’t teach me. It is through adversity we grow. If a man is down don’t help him up, kick him, in doing so he will either rise above the circumstance or stay under, because through adversity we grow.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version of me is the real me, because I am either engaging others in conversation and actively listening.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
Here is a leader that not only had quality of character, but loved to serve, listen with an open heart, and spread the good news (Gospel).
