Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Young.
Hi Victoria, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Since I was young, I was always told by my mother to dream big and go after it. I have always been interested in travel and truly anything creative. That’s when I fell in love photography. It amazed me that I could snap a picture that I had seen with my eyes and show others my perspective. I have a huge loving family full of entrepreneurs that inspire me daily to do what I love. Now my goal is to discover all this world has to offer and inspire others to chase their dreams no matter how big or little.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For me, I was lucky. Photography came pretty naturally to me though I am still a bit of newbie, anything can happen but I’m ready for any challenges that may cross my path.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Victoria Elaine Photography is about capturing the authentic moments in life. What sets my work apart from others is the ability to capture an amazing moment that may be blind to the eye. I love turning photo sessions into an intimate, fun day with your family or your other half. I’m most proud of being able to accomplish so much in such a small amount of time. I want others to know that when they work with me, they will have a very fun experience and memories captured to go with it that will last a lifetime.
How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy is seeing others succeed and seeing the good in the world. One great example that makes me happy is my mother. She came from not much to becoming a worldwide bridal designer. Everyone told her that her dreams were “pipe” dreams and that she would never succeed so seeing her have her designs all over the world makes me happy. I love seeing women stand up for themselves and show their power. I’m all about women empowerment and my mother is an amazing example of just that. Happiness comes in many forms but this is just one of many things that make me happy.
