Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Ive been doing music for about ten years now I started out as an artist. My artist name (Chip Bosss) thats how i met dre swade who was my engineer and my mentor. Whenever he was recording my vocals I always pay close attention to what he was doing until i even started going to other studios with him to record other artists like Tommy Lee Sparta, Ioctaine, and much more. That Journey about two years until me and dre swade went our separate ways and that is when i decided i am going to buy my own equipments and start recording myself. After awhile all my artist friends wanted me to start recording them and that is how i started practicing how to mix vocals and riddims until I become very good at it up to the point where I started recording an producing big artist like tommy lee and other artists like strykk Jeff Fullyauto, and Chogo Don who gave me one of my biggest production over 11 million views.. this is how i became a producer and engineer and stop pushing myself as an artist because i like the engineering part a little bit more
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been the smoothest road because during this transition i lost friends and family but nothing in life is easy so i just use the negative to fuel me it gives me that drive to prove all of who didn’t believe in me wrong

Chapwayyy Records is just a normal home studio with the quality of a million dollar studio. I specialize in recording mixing mastering and video production. Chapwayyy records is known for its clean and professional sound. Im proud of all my achievements in the industry. I would like everyone to know that I don’t have to be in a million dollar studio to give you that quality that you are looking for all i need is a laptop my monitors and a good interface and chapwayyy Records will give you a quality that not even the best can’t.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Well you have to find someone you are comfortable working with who is willing to bring out the best in you. You also have to love what your doing
