Exploring Life & Business with Tatiana Ramos of Tatyketo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatiana Ramos.

Hi Tatiana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Being overweight was a battle I struggled with for a long time. Fighting obesity hasn’t been easy; it involved a bariatric surgery and a total life change, from healing emotional wounds, and practicing gratitude, to meditation and returning to the water (swimming, my favorite sport). During that process, I went back to the books and took more than ten courses and certifications on nutrition and ketogenic diet at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Stanford University, FAB Academy, Mystic Core Movements, Unimetab with Frank Suárez, and more.

So, after losing over 200 pounds, I realized that my obesity war was not against fat or food, rather against disinformation. When we go down the road of healthy bodies and conscious eating, we do need to study, investigate, and change many limiting habits and beliefs. What began as my path for a healthier living is now my way to help others who need that change, who want to live better, happier, and for a longer time.

I do that as a ketogenic coach.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As soon as I decided to listen to my body and become healthier in every aspect, the Universe conspired in my favor! As if it threw a red carpet under my feet for a world of incredible chances: a radio show, a bookazine, becoming an Amazon influencer, online classes, WhatsApp groups, one on one coaching, I´m often requested as a speaker in events, and the ideas for related opportunities seem endless.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
It’s a keto coaching service with the mission of helping others to make better food choices by teaching them how the human body process the energy sources and realizing the importance of having an individual nutritional strategy. With my coaching, the client has a “food trainer” that explains what to eat, where to buy, how to cook, even teaches how to read and understand food labels, nutritional guides, and all the steps needed for a person to really change the way he/she eats.

Even though the coaching is for anybody requesting it, I have specialized in Hispanic females over 50. It seems that is the demographic that needs to regain control over their bodies.

The key of my practice is “being available always”… help cannot wait for appointments.

Besides the one on one coaching at very convenient schedules, I offer WhatsApp group coaching, zoom boot-camps, publications available at Amazon, and many more goods and services for a more conscious eating.

What were you like growing up?
I was the fatty of the classroom…also the smartest. In a way, life gave me the resources to connect with fascinating people from different cultures. Life also gave me the gift of being an avid and fast learner. I ended up with a Ph.D. in Communications and speaking four languages.

Eating was a way of coping with emotions, but that is normal… until it starts really hurting us and translating into weight gain or illnesses.

I remember being an angry person. Arrogant and unhappy… changing the way I related to food, changed everything.

Besides that, I love cooking, creating new recipes with healthy ingredients. I also love writing, swimming…the ocean, crystals are fascinating and I have a bunch of them.

People see me as a problem solver, as the “go-to-person” for answers. I believe that we are all connected, somehow.
