Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatiana Aicardi.
Hi Tatiana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
My journey began at a young age, around 8 years old, when I discovered my passion for cooking, obsessed with the Food Network, and always watching other Chefs, I began experimenting in the kitchen. Learning recipes from my mom, her helping me navigate knife cuts, I shortly embarked on a lifelong commitment to perfecting my craft.
I decided to hone my skills by attending Le Cordon Bleu in Miramar, FL, class of 2009 and quickly jumping into the real world of cooking in renowned kitchens, being trained under prestigious chefs. Over time I acquired a diverse range of culinary techniques and a profound understanding of flavors from various cultures. My repertoire includes both classical and contemporary styles, allowing me to create innovative and tantalizing dishes that captivate the senses, giving me a larger reach for my target clientele.
With this experience in hand, I then launched my Personal/Private Chef services in 2019. Offering high-end clientele a chance to experience gourmet, fine dining in the comfort of their home. Delivering white glove service, specially tailored menus, and a gastronomy experience worth telling!
With a deep-rooted love for food and an unwavering commitment to excellence, I strive to transform meals into unforgettable culinary masterpieces.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road, AT ALL! It has been challenge after challenge, ultimately leading me to success but, quite the struggles along the way. I had experience in many different high-end kitchen settings however, I had zero experience in running a business, managing other chefs, client services, menu curation, and so forth.
I had to learn it all. My only strength was cooking and executing the menu. I needed to learn how to brand myself, how to create a seamlessly flowing menu that danced well together, how to lead a team, how to send proposals, website building, marketing, and so much more.
With lots of patience and research, I slowly gained the knowledge and experience on how to navigate these tasks. At one point, I was carrying all of those hats to ensure I was as profitable as possible until I could invest in those other areas, giving me more time to invest in my craft.
