LaJeanell’s founder, Shirley Powell, brings more than 40 years of business experience. She represented two high-end luxury cosmetics companies. As an entrepreneur and model, she found herself searching for quality makeup that was health-conscious. As a result, she found the need to create a line that provided a solution to the problem. Shirley founded LaJeanell to provide quality skincare solutions. It resulted in a great selection of natural and organic makeup. Her vision was to include anti-aging components in the product line. Thus, giving users a younger look without going under the scalpel.
Shirley has been entrepreneurial for much of her life. She enjoys working and being creative while helping and impacting others. She has a passion for beauty and fashion. She wanted to share her simple regimen daily routines that are simple and effective for the health-conscious. Shirley created with purpose a skincare line and makeup essential kits and bundles for solutions for busy and healthy lifestyles.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I have suffered from debilitating chronic depression, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and autoimmune disorders.
I went into a vocational rehabilitation program to restart and get self-sufficient again I took a giant leap in my 60s and during COVID to create a new brand I am passionate about that I know helps others. This endeavor really helps me in my daily life and purpose.
