Exploring Life & Business with Olivia Lorek of The OJ Studio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Olivia Lorek.

Hi Olivia , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My first job was actually working for myself at 16, washing my grandmother’s coworkers’ cars. That experience was my introduction to entrepreneurship, even before I had the language for it.

In 2020, just before the world shut down, I found myself unemployed for nearly a year and a half. During that season, while applying for jobs, I also started planting the seed for what would eventually become The OJ Studio, a business rooted in marketing, social media content, and helping brands show up online with intention.

Since then, I have worked with a range of clients and built real experience helping people grow their presence and tell their story online. That work naturally expanded into mentorship and personal development.

Over time, I noticed a consistent pattern: so many people feel stuck, whether creatively, personally, or professionally. It is a space I understand deeply. Today, I mentor people through that transition, helping them move from confusion and hesitation into clarity, direction, and aligned action so they can build a life and business that genuinely reflects who they are.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not. It has not been a completely smooth road, and I am constantly learning something new.

One of my biggest internal struggles has been learning how to sit with uncertainty. I used to feel like I needed a clear, guaranteed outcome before I could move forward, which often made growth feel stressful instead of expansive. Over time, I have learned that uncertainty is part of the process, and clarity usually comes after you take the first step, not before it.

Another challenge has been the feeling that I should be further ahead than I am. I have had to learn to release that pressure and trust timing, even when things feel slow or unclear.
What I have come to understand is that growth is not linear.

Even when it doesn’t look like things are working, they are. Growth takes time, and patience is part of the work.

You move through seasons in life and no season lasts forever. You don’t harvest a crop the same day the seed is planted. You have to allow things to nurture in order to grow.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The OJ Studio helps entrepreneurs, coaches, and service based founders build personal brands that feel aligned and profitable. Through strategic marketing, content creation, and brand positioning, we combine clarity with storytelling to develop magnetic content, streamlined systems, and visibility strategies that attract the right audience and convert with authority. This is not content for attention. It is visibility designed for long term growth.

What sets The OJ Studio apart is the focus on identity as much as execution. It is not just about helping people create content. It is about helping them become the kind of brand people remember.

My work sits at the intersection of content, personal branding, and digital growth. The core services I focus on include personal brand strategy and positioning, messaging and storytelling development, and content strategy and creative direction.

I also support clients with short form video editing and content repurposing, YouTube editing, and podcast production. A large part of my work is helping people build visibility through thought leadership and organic audience growth strategies.

On the more hands-on side, I offer launch and funnel strategy, as well as VIP strategy days and done for you content support for clients who want deeper execution and partnership.

The foundation of the studio is authenticity and intentionality, creating from who we are rather than chasing trends.

Most people spend years learning what to post and how to position themselves. My work helps compress that learning curve so clients can move with clarity, confidence, and direction.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I ran away from home when I was three years old.

It is something most people would not expect, but the truth is, my journey has never been a straightforward one. A lot of the challenges I have experienced early in life shaped my perspective, resilience, and the way I show up for others today.

I am passionate about business, but even more so about impact. Many of the struggles my clients face are ones I understand on a personal level, which is why authenticity, empathy, and transformation sit at the center of everything I build.
