Hi Miguel , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I began my legal career as a litigator and later began transitioning into transactional work. I worked at a large national law firm handling business disputes, corporate transactions, and real estate transactions. When I was in law school, I began hosting yearly masterminds and doing 1:1 coaching for a personal development program I created named Destiny by Demand. While I gained a lot of valuable experience working for a large law firm, climbing the corporate ladder never made me feel at peace. I enjoy networking, talking to people, and connecting people; as an associate at a large law firm, there was not much opportunity to bring in business or generate my own client base, or continue building Destiny by Demand. I made the decision to venture out on my own in early 2024 to begin taking concrete steps toward making the vision in my head reality.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Nothing in life worth doing comes without challenges. The biggest obstacles I’ve faced have always been during times where I don’t have enough information or confidence to make a decision. Realizing this, I’ve begun surrounding myself with mentors and trusted individuals who can help guide me whenever I get stuck. This has been a game changer. The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your relationships, and I’ve been blessed to have great people around me who want to see me succeed.

Miguel Perez Legal PLLC is a boutique law firm based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, specializing in business law, real estate law, and title insurance services. I work alongside my brother, Sebastian Perez, who assists on all aspects of real estate transactions. He has also been instrumental in helping me put on the Destiny by Demand masterminds.
