Michael, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey in real estate began in my childhood, growing up in a family of investors in Queens, New York, and later in Wellington, Florida. This early exposure instilled in me a passion for real estate, and by 22, I had developed my own investment portfolio, which deepened my understanding of market dynamics.
I co-founded the Ivan and Mike Team, focusing on luxury and pre-construction real estate across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. At Compass, our team has grown significantly and has been recognized among the top in Miami, ranking within the top 1.5% of agents nationwide and named one of the Top 3 teams in Miami by the Wall Street Journal from 2021 to 2024.
Throughout my career, I’ve leveraged my experiences and knowledge to better serve my clients, specializing in Ultra High Net Worth Luxury Real Estate. I’m proud to have ranked in the top 1% of Hispanic agents and to have received recognition as a Top Luxury Industry Leader by Master Broker. Additionally, being fluent in both English and Spanish and having traveled to nearly 70 countries has enabled me to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds, fostering meaningful relationships that last a lifetime.

My journey in real estate has had its share of challenges. Navigating market fluctuations and adapting to changes while meeting client expectations has been crucial. Building a successful team also required overcoming initial hurdles in finding the right talent and fostering a cohesive environment. As an investor, I’ve faced complexities in financing and negotiations, but each struggle has taught me valuable lessons and strengthened my resilience.

Ultimately, I view risk as a necessary component of innovation and progress in both my professional and personal life.
