Exploring Life & Business with Michael Fewquay of Paid Tripz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Fewquay.

Hi Michael, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I got into the travel industry accidentally when one year I planned a birthday trip for my friends and I to go to Atlanta. I was finding flights, activities, an airbnb, and the rental car through pure dedicated research and going as far to see the areas in which we would be visiting. Before I knew it the trip was a success and everyone loved it and from there the rest is history.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has its obstacles for sure one of the biggest challenges has been just trying to understand how travel operates and the business of it as someone who once had no true desire to travel nor do I have anyone personally to lean on to help me with these issues. Everything has been brand new to me and it has definitely challenged me to see how far I’m willing to go with my business but I know most certainly that this is the path for me.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Travel Advisor and Guide mainly based out of South Florida but I’ve made nice content highlighting restaurants and fun spots in various cities and states. I mainly specialize in booking travel to Caribbean destinations for solo, couple, and group travelers.

What matters most to you?
In terms of my business the clients that I receive and am able to actually book some sort of travel for whether it be a rental car, a hotel, or even an excursion, just to know that I’ve been able to service them to the best of my ability is amazing. To see how much joy it brings them is what truly drives me to keep going.
