Hi Meka, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I moved to South Florida almost four years ago, and like many people, I found that making genuine, lasting friendships as an adult can be surprisingly hard. I started Hot Girls Just Wanna as a way to create a space for women to meet, connect, and actually build meaningful relationships that are beyond just the usual social scroll or surface-level networking. Over the past few months, it’s grown into a community where girls can show up, have fun, support each other, and just genuinely enjoy each other’s company. It’s been incredible to see these connections form and the energy our events bring, whether it’s a sunset cruise, a workout, or a social gathering and that’s really what keeps me motivated every day to keep growing Hot Girls Just Wanna.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly, it hasn’t always been smooth. When I first started, Hot Girls Just Wanna was just a passion project and I was basically winging it! One of the biggest struggles was figuring out how to consistently create events and experiences that felt unique, fun, and meaningful, while also managing all the logistics behind the scenes. Another challenge was growing a community that genuinely wanted to connect, not just show up for the hype. But those early challenges taught me a lot about patience, creativity, and what it really takes to bring people together and seeing the friendships and energy that come from it makes every hurdle worth it.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of how we’ve built a loyal, engaged community that truly supports and inspires each other. We’re not just about events we’re about creating moments and connections that last beyond the night.

What does success mean to you?
I define success by the impact and connections I create rather than just numbers or milestones. For Hot Girls Just Wanna, success isn’t just hosting amazing events it’s seeing women leave feeling inspired, supported, and genuinely connected. It’s about building a community where people show up for each other, friendships are formed, and experiences leave a lasting positive impression.
On a personal level, success is also growth learning from challenges, staying true to my vision, and creating something that makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
