Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Mainegra.
Hi Maria, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Thank you for the opportunity to share my story. My journey has been one of perseverance, love, and purpose. I spent over 20 years in the medical field, where I learned the importance of compassion, precision, and helping others. In 2020, with the encouragement and support of my husband, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own business — Unlimited Notary. He was the one who pushed me to believe in myself and stood behind me every step of the way as we built the company together.
In 2023, my husband was diagnosed with cancer. Even during his battle, he reminded me to keep going and to continue fighting for the business we created side by side. His strength and belief in me gave me the courage to carry on.
Today, I continue to run Unlimited Notary in his honor. Every achievement is a reflection of his love and encouragement, and I strive to make him proud by serving my clients with integrity, professionalism, and heart. For me, this company is more than just a business—it’s a legacy of resilience, dedication, and the enduring power of love.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like any new business owner, I faced many challenges getting Unlimited Notary off the ground—especially when it came to marketing, building a client base, and establishing my name in a competitive field. It takes time, consistency, and a lot of faith to grow a business from the ground up.
Then in 2023, life took a difficult turn when my husband was diagnosed with cancer. I had to stop everything—my work, my business, and all my plans—to take care of him and be by his side. It was the hardest period of my life. After his passing, I found myself having to rebuild the company all over again from scratch, while also finding the strength to move forward personally.
It hasn’t been easy, but every challenge has taught me resilience and reminded me why I started this journey in the first place. Today, I’m proud to say that Unlimited Notary is still standing—and growing—because I refused to give up on the dream that my husband and I built together.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Unlimited Notary is more than just a notary service — it’s a business built on reliability, trust, and dedication. We provide a full range of notary services for individuals, banks, title companies, and businesses. Our work includes commercial closings, real estate closings, and general notary work, all handled with professionalism, accuracy, and care.
What truly sets us apart is our commitment to being there when our clients need us. We’re open seven days a week, always ready to assist — whether it’s a last-minute signing or an after-hours appointment. That flexibility and reliability have earned us the trust of many clients who know they can depend on Unlimited Notary to get the job done right.
In addition to notary services, I’m also an ordained minister, performing weddings and helping couples make one of the most meaningful commitments of their lives.
What I’m most proud of, brand-wise, is the reputation we’ve built in the community. My clients know that when they call, they’ll be met with professionalism, honesty, and heart. Unlimited Notary isn’t just a business — it’s a reflection of my passion for service, my resilience, and the values my husband and I built it on: commitment, consistency, and compassion.
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is integrity, compassion, and purpose — in both my personal life and my business. I believe in treating every person I meet with respect, kindness, and honesty. Those values guided me through my 20 years in the medical field, and they continue to guide me in my work with Unlimited Notary today.
After losing my husband, I realized even more how important it is to live a life that has meaning — to continue what we started together and to make a difference in people’s lives, even in the smallest ways. Every client I serve, every document I notarize, and every wedding I officiate represents trust and connection.
What truly matters to me is building something that lasts — a business rooted in love, dedication, and service to others. That’s what keeps me going every single day.
