Hi Maria, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started the business as a hobby to separate the stress caused by the corporate world. After a year taking classes for Silver Smithing / jewelry fabrication I fell in love with Jewelry making and jewelry design. Reason why I decided to open a small company and make my own jewelry.
In 2011, I won an award as international designer of the year at the Miami Fashion week. I have been published in several magazines, and tv shows.
After a few years building up my business, doing trunk shows and participating in several charity events, shows etc I opened a small store in Boca Raton. Four years later I was able to open up this beautiful jewelry store located in the heart of PARKLAND.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For sure, starting a business is not a smooth road. There’s multiple challenges that people need to face … in my case being a jeweler getting people who don’t know you to trust you is a big one.
Finding the right location for the business, get the financials in order to start and maintain the business, and being able to offer equal or better service and products than the competitors as well.
Sometimes you run into individuals that they try to hurt your business for no reason. Thankfully, I have overcome all of this challenges, I am moving forward and moving strong.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We design and fabricate fine jewelry including engagement rings, wedding bands, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings.
We do custom designs and re-designs for our clients as well.
We focus on natural diamonds jewelry created in 18k, 14k and platinum. We do carry certified Lab grown diamonds (2+ carats and above).
We have a beautiful line of Vermeil with natural stones and another amazing line in 925 sterling silver.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love Parkland. We try to support our recreational soccer teams and be involved in the community. Parkland is an incredible place to live and raise a family and being the only Jewelry store of parkland is an honor and privilege for me.
