Today we’d like to introduce you to Lina Rivera.
Hi Lina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey has always been about people. From early on, I was drawn to active listening, assertive communication, and supporting others through challenges. Almost ten years ago I became certified as a Holistic Health Coach, and I discovered that accompaniment and accountability are some of my greatest passions.
With over 20 years of leadership and administrative experience, I realized that true leadership is not just about systems, it’s about energy, clarity, and presence. Today I am a Leadership, Mindset, and Life Strategy Coach, and I created The Lead Collective to help people lead themselves first so they can lead their projects and teams with more intention.
My why has always been transformation. I’ve seen that when leaders are clear on who they are and the energy they bring, they make better decisions, they build healthier teams, and they create projects that last. Leadership begins within — in the clarity of our mind, the attitude we choose, and the structure we give ourselves. And that’s the heart of The Lead Collective: it’s not just about leadership as a concept, it’s about the way we live, the energy we transmit, and the legacy we leave in every step.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but it has been a transformational one. I deeply believe that every crisis carries the seed of transformation, and my own journey has shown me that time and again.
I had been carrying the dream of The Lead Collective in my heart for years. At one point, I even began working with clients, but I wasn’t ready to fully develop the project. Looking back now, I understand it wasn’t a lack of vision, it was simply that I wasn’t yet in the personal alignment needed to offer conscious and intentional accompaniment.
Along the way, I’ve faced struggles that many of us encounter as human beings: being my own harshest judge, asking myself questions that led to doubt or demotivation, falling into self-sabotage, and perhaps the most demanding, facing my own personal transformation. That meant looking at my wounds, acknowledging them, and allowing them to strengthen me rather than define me. It’s a difficult process, but one that opens the door to creating the life we truly dream of.
Those moments were not obstacles, but lessons. They reminded me that leadership is not about perfection, but about presence, about learning to realign, rebuild, and grow with greater clarity. And that’s how I approach my work today: from a place of awareness, resilience, and transformation.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
The Lead Collective is not just a coaching practice — it’s a movement that redefines leadership as something deeply human. Our philosophy is simple but powerful: leadership begins within. Before we can lead teams, businesses, or projects, we need clarity of mind, the right attitude, and the energy we choose to bring into the room.
What we do is help people — whether they are individuals, professionals, or entrepreneurs — lead themselves first so they can lead others with more intention. We focus on two main dimensions: personal growth and practical leadership tools. Personal growth is about reconnecting with yourself, understanding your patterns, and aligning your energy with your vision. The tools are what make it real — structure, mindset frameworks, and strategies that bring clarity and momentum into everyday life and business.
We specialize in three main areas:
One-on-one coaching for clarity, mindset, structure, and momentum.
Workshops and consulting for teams and organizations that want to grow with purpose.
Transformational content — from ebooks and reels to workshops, and soon, a podcast and book — that bridges strategy with humanity.
We are called The Lead Collective because we are not just one voice. We are a collective — a group of people in search of the same objective: to grow with intention, to lead with humanity, and to leave a meaningful legacy.
Brand-wise, what makes me most proud is that The Lead Collective has a clear and intentional identity. It’s minimal, elegant, and powerful — but also warm and human. More than a brand, it’s a reminder: you can grow, create, and lead without losing yourself, without burning out your energy, and while leaving a mark that feels truly your own.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I’m inspired by resources that connect clarity, purpose, and humanity. Books like Los Cuatro Acuerdos, Dare to Lead, and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and podcasts like Entiende Tu Mente, En Defensa Propia, and On Purpose by Jay Shetty, remind me that growth can feel lighter. They’ve shaped my path and are the inspiration behind my own upcoming podcast and book.
