Today we’d like to introduce you to Laetitia Laurent.
Hi Laetitia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Laure Nell Interiors began as a French lifestyle brand I founded in 2010 – born from my love for understated elegance and my passion for curation. What started as a collection of objects and inspirations quickly evolved when friends began asking me to help design their homes. By 2012, I realized my true calling was in interiors – creating not just beautiful things, but beautiful, layered spaces that tell a story and feel deeply personal.
As a French woman living in the United States, my design perspective is naturally rooted in European sensibilities – blending old-world craftsmanship, quiet luxury, and a refined aesthetic that feels collected, not contrived. I believe in designing spaces that are timeless, not trendy; that support a lifestyle, not just a look.
Today, Laure Nell Interiors is a full-service firm based in Boca Raton with a growing team of ten, working on high-end residential projects across South Florida and beyond. We have clients from Miami to Palm Beach and even maintain a presence in Paris, where I often source unique pieces and draw inspiration from Europe’s rich design heritage.
Our work is about creating spaces that feel curated, soulful, and livable – balancing restraint with warmth, structure with creativity, and always a touch of quiet sophistication.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like any meaningful pursuit, the journey hasn’t always been smooth – but every challenge has shaped the way we work today. Early on, it was a learning curve to educate clients on the value of a structured, process-driven approach – especially in an industry where design can seem purely aesthetic. I had to find the right balance between staying true to my vision and adapting to client expectations – always ensuring that we protect the integrity of the work.
Another challenge has been scaling while maintaining the level of detail and service we’re known for. As the firm grew, I learned that building a strong, aligned team was key – hiring people who share the same dedication to excellence and who bring their own talents to the table.
These lessons have strengthened our approach, allowing us to create beautiful, highly curated spaces while delivering a seamless and elevated client experience. Every project is a collaboration, and we’ve built a process that clients can trust – one that turns the vision of home into something real, lasting, and uniquely their own.
As you know, we’re big fans of Laure Nell Interiors. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Laure Nell Interiors is a full-service interior design firm based in Boca Raton, with projects across South Florida and beyond. We specialize in creating refined, layered, and deeply personal spaces that feel both timely, but more importantly, timeless. Our design philosophy is rooted in my French heritage: an appreciation for craftsmanship, quiet elegance, and the beauty of restraint. We believe a home should reflect the life you live – comfortable, sophisticated, and authentic.
What sets us apart is our highly tailored, process-driven approach. We handle every detail, from concept to completion, so clients can focus on the excitement of seeing their vision come to life – without the stress of managing a complex project. Our team of ten operates with structure, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Every project we take on is a true collaboration, guided by a clear process that ensures exceptional results, delivered on time and within scope.
We’re known for our ability to blend old and new in a way that feels effortless – pairing contemporary art with classical architecture and incorporating bespoke pieces sourced from artisans around the world.. We create designs that seamlessly weave together old and new elements, paying homage to a distinctly French approach to design.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the trust we’ve built with our clients – many of whom come back to us again and again. We’re honored to have received many prestigious design awards and have our work recognized in major shelter publications, as well as high profile projects, like our recent primary bath at the Kips Bay Palm Beach Show House. But what matters most is that our clients feel seen, understood, and genuinely at home in the spaces we create.
At the heart of Laure Nell Interiors is a belief that design is about more than aesthetics. It’s about creating a backdrop for life’s most meaningful moments. That’s what we do best: we design homes that are beautiful, yes – but more importantly, they feel like you.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was naturally curious and a bit of an old soul. I had a strong sense of independence and a love for beauty in all its forms—whether it was art, architecture, or a beautifully set table. I was also a bit of a perfectionist, always wanting things to feel just so.
My parents owned a gallery, so I grew up surrounded by art, creativity, and an appreciation for craftsmanship. I loved exploring – whether it was through books, museums, or travel – and I was always drawn to the details: the texture of a fabric, the shape of a chair, the patina on an old door. My childhood in France, surrounded by history and artistry, deeply shaped my sensibility. I learned to appreciate timelessness, quality, and the idea that less is more.
Even as a child, I loved creating environments – rearranging my room, setting the table, helping my mother style the house for holidays. I didn’t know it then, but that instinct to create atmosphere was already in me. It wasn’t about decorating, it was about creating a feeling. That passion has stayed with me and is at the heart of everything I do today.
